The buzz in Dad's VIP suite was half appreciated and half annoying. He didn't tell me he had come to watch the match with Pa. Normally I preferred it if I didn't know because it added too much pressure for me to do well and normally everyone would get tense by the amount of security walking through the stadium.
It was only after I had won the match did I know he was in the building. He had invited a few family members from my team and a few business colleagues.
Even if he wasn't CEO of Coleman Enterprise anymore, he still marketed like he was and what better way to market the Coleman legacy then his son winning the hardest match of the season. Connor's team had always been hard to beat but Phillip had pissed me off so much the stretch between us was far.
I was ecstatic that we won. Half because we proved we were better and mostly because Connor had no choice to go on vacation with me. However, it didn't mean I didn't carry mixed emotions about how his team always treated me.
