"It was meant for you."
Liu Zheng cheerfully tossed the ball of yarn into the air.
"Meow!"
San Huamao exclaimed excitedly, then made a powerful leg thrust and leapt out from his arms, pouncing towards the yarn ball.
"Meow meow meow~"
It grabbed the yarn with all four paws, hugging and scratching it, playing to its heart's content.
"Hehehe!"
One was meowing, the other giggling foolishly, creating quite a harmonious scene.
"By the way, did you handle those two other cats?"
After watching for a few minutes, Liu Zheng remembered the serious matter at hand.
"Meow!"
San Huamao's body stiffened for a moment, then curled up, holding its big tail with both paws, eyes fixed on its belly, ignoring the ball of yarn that had rolled aside.
"No worries, if it's broken, it's broken. I'll just fish another one."
He comforted.
As a seasoned poop-shoveler, he knew this was a typical cat's guilty behavior.
Though a bit heartbroken, it was to be expected.
