Scrrrtch! scrrrtch! scrrrtch! The sound of a static tv could be heard, swoosh! a dark shadow could be seen, moving fast through the dark corners of the dystopian city alley,
Creak! creak!, the shadow could be seen, sticking its head out, observing the surveillance camera, as soon as the lence of the camera was no longer facing his direction, Flip! flipping, and hiding behind a dumpster in the alley, he waited for the surveillance camera to move from his direction,
He was about to bolt out of the alley before, scrrtch! blink! the large screen at the top of the a large building at the center of town, came to life, and a balding middle age man, with a stern face, scrunched up eyebrow appeared on screen.
"Good day Republicans, this is your vice president speaking, we've survived the fight with the infected and won, but we mustn't be complacent, there are still those of the infected who still remains, so citizens of the republic, keep up the good work and report any suspicious individual to any hunters association close to you, do not engage them just report to any hunter association near you, or call the emergency number, may God bless the republic" schink! the image on the screen disappeared.
...
"BASTARD! INFECTED! INFECTED! WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING HEROES! the moment they didn't need us any more they hunted us, and now we aren't even humans anymore, we're infected," the shadow yelled angrily, Bang! punching the dumpster in front of him.
Flash! There was a flash of red light, followed by a wailing sound, WHEW! WHEW!
"SHIT!" cussing out loudly, the shadow gave up on being discreet, dashing out the shadow of the alley, fwoosh! the shadow which turned out to be a man in his late twenties, with a bushy beard, and a muscular stature.
VROOM! VROOM! VROOM! VROOM! VROOM! he could hear the sound of bikes, and from the sound of it, it seemed to be getting closer, swoosh! there was a sound of a saucer cutting through the air,
Feeling a sudden darkness, he raised his head, only to see an an aircraft above him.
"shit! they arrived early" cussing under his breath, he jumped down the flyover, and continued running.
"there's no escape Emperor, surrender now" a voice was transmitted from the spaceship,
The man, now identified as Emperor, heard the sound of hover bike getting closer, VROOM! VROOM! VROOM! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! he head the sound of bikes, jumping down the flyover,
"f**kers" the man cussed, struggling to increase his speed, before suddenly, VWOOM! BOOM! A missile just zipped pass his head,
"ah! shit! c**k s**king m**her f**ker's" cussing he yelled out loud,
"FREEZE!" and suddenly everything paused as if frozen in time, with him at the center and then spreading outward, from the pieces of concrete, to the hover cars, thrown into the air, and to the aircraft and bike chasing him, froze, as if a pause switch has been pressed in the whole world,
Sprinting in this stopped time, Emperor, headed straight for the location where the missile made contact, using the pieces of concrete as a leverage, he headed for the cars suspended in the air ripping out the doors, from one car to another, taking out the people caught in the impact, and taking them outside the range of the explosion,
THUD! THUD! THUD! Jumping from one flyover to another, he continued all the way to the base of the skyrise building, sprinting, ran all the way to an alley, and lifting up the cover of the sewers before jumping in, closing it back he sprinted.
...
Meanwhile at the sight of the explosion, the riders who where chasing after Emperor, stopped, while the air craft flew around the surrounding, in search of Emperor.
The rider at the front of the riders took off her helmet, spilling out red hair, like a waterfall of red, before coming down her bike, sighing she spoke,
"who did that" seeing no one talking, she asked once more,
"who was the fool who shot a rocket on an highway full of civilians, who was it speak" she spoke in a cold deep voice, starring at the rest of the rider with a chilling cold glare, making them feel cold and small, shifting uncomfortably under her stare, one of the riders couldn't take it anymore and spoke.
"captain, it was vice captain Jack" the rider said pointing at the vice captain, the vice captain looked at the rider with a glare that seemed like it could cut him to pieces.
"is that true vice captain" the captain asked in a low deep voice.
"yes mam," the vice captain Jack, stepped forward and answered starring straight at the captain.
"why?" the captain asked.
"it was an order from the commander mam" jack answered.
"I would check with the commander and if it isn't as you said it is, be prepared to face punishment" the captain stated before getting back on her bike, turning on her bike she drove off.
"yes mam" the vice captain answered before driving after her, and the rest of the crew members driving after them.
...
Meanwhile, down in the sewers, Emperor could be seen running through the filth and darkness of the sewers,
'how low I've falling, how the tide has change, we use to be heroes, idols of hope, bastion of humanity, we fought died, bled for humanity, we did everything in our power all for the survival of human kind, but they turned their back on us the moment we were no longer needed, turning us into object of scorn, calling us infected.
It wasn't always like this, we used to be normal people until the day it happened, the day the sun turned green, it didn't stay that way for long, only about ten minutes, but in that time, the rays of the green sun hard already traveled trough the entire world, awakening a tiny part of the population given them abilities, some abilities greater than others,
This brought about the era of chaos, some of the supers deemed it right that they should rule the normal's as they termed it, and some like my self deemed it right to protect the weak, and so the war of the supers began, those who sought to rule were in majority and so we joined forces with the normies, and fought, together, we defeated those who sort to rule, and the normies called us heroes,
But I should have seen it coming, I should have seen the fear in their eyes, but I was blinded, by my own trust in their principles, I thought like they had principles, but I was sorely mistaken they don't,
I started noticing heroes going missing, disappearing, one after another but by the time I noticed it was already to late, a war had begone and we already lost.
