Considering the fact that Obed Montgomery was a ghost client nobody in the cafe was eager to help, his name raised a few hackles.
Obed himself had been hiding behind a few ghosts, trying to be inconspicuous until his name was blasted out. The moment he raised his head, all the ghost seeing humans in the cafe recognized him.
He waved his pale hand and managed a nervous smile, particularly keeping an eye on Rekha.
"This place is weird." A woman said.
All the ghost seeing humans ignored that and maintained their eyes on Obed. Rekha sprang up like a released coil ready to chase him away.
"Unbelievable, some people just can't take a hint." She snarled.
"Easy Rekha." Maureen's voice snapped her back to focus. Her hand pulled Rekha back, to stop her from shouting at the invisible ghost and freaking out the ordinary humans that were just enjoying a drink and some snacks.
