A few days have passed, as we have stayed inside the lab, I hate it in here, everything is just too perfect. No doubt it is his lab. Everyone's heard of it but no one knows where about it is, so how did Will know. Oh well, it is what it is. Throughout the days that have passed we have just explored the lab, finding out any useful information we could, we are still both creeped out that there is no one here, there's too much going on for it to be for just one person. And that car park has enough space for multiple vehicles.
Yesterday I found an old storage room on one of the lower floors filled with all sorts of randoms supplies, and within them I found paints, canvases and brushes. It took a few hours for me to move them all up into the main control room but now that I have I can finally paint. Sat in front of the massive glass panels I overlook the view as my brush caresses the canvas. Hearing movement behind me I see out of my peripheral vision Will moving a chair and canvas to the window as well. Smiling at each other we go into a comfortable silence as we begin to paint. I have no idea how long has passed but the sun begins to fall as the sky lights up in an amber hue illuminating the valley. A sigh echoes throughout the room as I look over at Will watching him lean back into his chair as his head looks up his eyes closing. "You good there?" I question gently as my hand keeps on painting, "This painting will take me a lot longer than I thought, so I'm just taking a small breather." Smiling to myself I get curious about what he is painting, I mean I've never seen him paint so I don't know how good it will be but mine is nearly done and there is only the view to paint. My mind gets taken again as I continue painting as time continues to pass.
The control room, or what's left is now Will's and Rose's make shift living room, most of the equipment was moved out from the centre if it had wheels on or was light enough, and then they searched for anything to liven it up too which they found artwork, bookshelves and books, a record player, paintings, rugs, blankets and sofas. To them it was home now, out of the window the sun continues to set as the a soft hum fills the room, both still painting, hours on end yet no complaint as it it what they want to do. The hum is a gentle tune echoing gently throughout the room until Rose speaks out. "I am going to go lay down for a bit and probably listen to the radio for any news." As she speaks out Will looks up from his painting muttering "You can't leach though, I won't be able to finish my painting then." Looking into his eyes as her face drops in confusion he slowly but surely turns the canvas round showing a painting off her in the sunset whilst also painting, how poetic. One thing was undeniable, it was gorgeous. "Oh my god, that looks absolutely stunning, where did you learn to paint like that?" she questions her tone filled with joy. Smiling back he replies "I'm not too sure, I just kind of did what I felt was right" Her eyes scan the painting, the intricate details making it seem like a photo.
"Mr Collins, we believe we have found the location of Rose, the artist." a voice speaks at the table, all eyes look over as she stand tall grabbing a stick, walking over to the map on. the wall their gazes follow. Pointing the stick to the map she states "We believe this to be their location" Murmurs erupt around the table as a few conversations make a stand. "Is there any evidence proving they aren't traitors, no communication, no idea was to where they went, it all seems convenient for her" someone bellows to the table making a stand from his chair walking to the map as he grabs a stick. "We should focus our resources too expanding, moving throughout the continent as we get more people to our cause, we nearly have the radio system up and running" More whispers echoed around the table in agreements and disagreement. However, making her stand again she walks to the head of the table addressing everyone "There is no proof she is a traitor, unlike us she isn't made for battle, she will of gotten scared and did what everyone else did, escape. But, I do not know why she hasn't communicated with us or why she may of gone so far. And if we do your idea of expanding we need to ensure we set up resource lines and a main force here as we fully transport the city into our stronghold for the rebellion." The people at the table begun to agree more so now than ever until Mr Collins stands up drawing everyone's attention. "I will back your idea, but why do you think this is where she is?" Like a wave everyone looks back over, Mr Collins narrowing his eyes seeing her smirk grow. "Come in" she bellows as the door slowly opens as footsteps are heard entering the room. All heads turn. "Because I know who she is with, and because of that I know where they will be" The person speaks aloud with utter confidence dripping from their tone and body language. "Nice to see you up Dr Goult"
