Synopsis
In a world fractured by ancient crystal magic, three races once reigned: Humans, Elves, and Vampires. Each held a sacred crystal — a relic of unspeakable power, capable of summoning divine spirits or rewriting fate itself. Centuries ago, the Vampire King Kalidor led a failed war and was cast into the abyss of eternal torment. His body perished… but his soul endured. Now, after hundreds of years, Kalidor returns — not as a man, but as a wandering spirit, drawn back to his ruined castle by the last remnants of the Vampire Crystal he once bound to his blood. To reclaim his throne, Kalidor must recover his body piece by piece, solving arcane riddles, facing spectral guardians, and surviving the very horrors he once commanded. But the deeper he descends into the castle’s secrets, the more he begins to forget who he truly was. He gains his strength… but loses his identity. With each limb regained, with each echo of memory restored, the question grows louder: What use is a body… when the name behind it is lost? Castle of Lumania: Lord of Lumania is the first volume of the Crystal Trilogy, a gothic epic of undead kings, forgotten wars, and the price of resurrection.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Coffin in the Mist

Introduction

Where memories do not die but rot like corpses beneath a crimson twilight...In the Valley of Shades, at the bottom of a forgotten world, Castle Lumania stands like a nightmare incarnate. Its twisted towers resemble the ribs of a dead beast. From its cracked walls, blue mist seeps, carrying the moans of ancient ages.

Here, where the bells of the dead have rung for a thousand years, the land is a cemetery without end.The cursed wind guards a black marble coffin marked with broken tombstones — names erased, a crystal at its heart swallowing the mummified corpse inside.

But tonight... something has changed.

From the mist of the valley, a long shadow emerged, heavy with the pride of buried centuries.Kalidor — once a sovereign — returns from the fog of oblivion to find a twisted reflection of his former kingdom. His undead soldiers, who once fell defending him, are now guardians of the darkest secrets.Their rusted swords do not remember...But the crystal does.It remembers his face — not to protect him, but to pierce his shadow.

"Do you know who I am?"He roared as a spectral sword shattered in his hand.

Silence.

Then, from the depths of the coffin, laughter exploded like thunder:

"Your king was born dead... and you're nothing but a fly in the weave of my strings."

In a world where fate is forged in blood and betrayal...Perhaps the curse is the only salvation left.
