Chapter 238 - Chapter 237: Does Our Policy Cover Demonic Possession?

Refined and garbed in a flowing buttercup yellow robe, the insurance agent from Green Tara Ltd sits in our conference room because Daji and I figured we needed way more space to spread out. Mom, Dad, Gram, and Gramps also insisted on being present, and Mithra, too.

Green Tara, according to mythology, is a female Buddha/bodhisattva. The woman in front of us calls herself Yellow Cintamani Tārā or "Wish-Granting Gem Tara." I'm not making that up! She's a golden-skinned female Buddha adorned with gems. But she carries a briefcase and an already marked-up copy of our insurance policy. 

"Most people don't think that gods and places that cater to gods need insurance," she says in a melodious voice. 

I shake my head. "Even Moses found out God needed contracts ..."

"This is true." She smiles, pleased to discover that someone understands. "And Noah just re-upped his flood insurance policy."

"We need to review our flood insurance policy," I assert.
