Yao Wan Gui's face shifted between shades of purple and blue, his throat working as he forcibly swallowed the blood that had surged up. His gaze was intensely fixed on the figure standing with a spear in the void.
Yao Tian and Yao Ling, who had retreated to a distance, looked at Elder Yao Wan Gui with surprise. Both were four star Dou Saints in the later stages; why then was Yao Wan Gui at a disadvantage in close combat?

"Not at all, I haven't had a verbal sparring match like this in a long time; I'm a bit rusty," Xiao Ze replied, shaking his head before moving closer to Elder Yao and Xiao Yan, slightly lowering his voice. "Sorry, with so many people around, it wasn't good to act too harshly. Once we enter the Demonic Fire Space and find an opportunity, I will take Yao Wan Gui's head to resolve Elder Yao's grievances."
"Elder Yao, you needn't trouble yourself for me," Elder Yao insisted.
"Elder Yao, please don't be polite. As I said before, you are the leader of our Alliance, and it's my duty to act. Besides, you are like family to Third Brother, and thus, you are my family too."
Xiao Yan, standing beside them, was silent for a moment, his gaze firm as he looked at Xiao Ze. "Brother, I wish to personally return the insult suffered by the teacher today."
Xiao Ze met Xiao Yan's resolute gaze, paused, and then nodded. "I believe in you, Third Brother."
As the three of them were talking, a slight spatial fluctuation appeared nearby, and three figures emerged. One of them, upon appearing, quickly locked her gaze on Xiao Ze, her face breaking into a beautiful smile.
"Brother Xiao Ze!"
