"So," Cero said casually, arms behind his head. "Can you show me?"
Remi blinked, slowly turning to him. "I can't figure out where this is offensive or not." He whispered to himself. "Is it? Offensive?" He ended up asking.
"No," Cero lied. "I don't think so."
"Are you…" Remi scratched chin. "Are you sure? Sure sounds like it should be. Asking me to show you how we shed…"
Cero didn't answer immediately. He raised an eyebrow, watching as Remi squirmed in his seat.
"Well?" Cero asked, voice dry. "Are you going to do it or not?"
"It's not that simple." Remi scratched the back of his neck, clearly uncertain. "We don't just shed our skin. It's a lot more than that."
"Exactly. That's why I want to see it." Cero muttered.
"But why…?"
"Because I think it's cool." Cero couldn't really say the truth, which is that he wanted that ability for himself and that he was planning on getting it by feasting on plenty of Remi's kind.
