The shopkeeper's wife didn't say much!
Heading back to the front desk downstairs, she'd just logged the cash into the books when a cat's meow echoed from outside. The shopkeeper's wife hurriedly grabbed some dried fish, hoping to remind Kitty not to enter the shop.
But at the entrance, it wasn't just Kitty who appeared. There was also a young man in a black suit, with pale skin and a briefcase in hand. His features were strikingly handsome, his smile intoxicating, and he exuded an air of elegance.
"Hello, I am Lachesis Simms, an investigator from Division Two of the Aurora Society. Here is my identification...."
Standing outside, the young man pulled a black booklet from his inside pocket and handed it to the shopkeeper's wife.
Opening the ID, the black-and-white photo within depicted the young man before her, even the smile was an exact match. But in the "race" field... it boldly declared: Blood Tribe!
