Synopsis
I've been watching and reading Four Knights of the Apocalypse while re-watching and re-reading The Seven Deadly Sins. I love the verse, the versatility and uniqueness of magical powers, and the races and abilities. Ergo why I'm writing this fanfic...Enjoy.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The kingdom of Liones is a large and powerful country protected by its knights and order of Holy Knights. It was built over the Fairy King's Forest vestiges from Ancient Britannia.

The Holy Knights ( Seikishi) are the most formidable warriors in Britannia, revered as champions and protectors of their kingdoms. Renowned for their exceptional strength and unmatched prowess in battle, each knight possesses the extraordinary ability to rival an entire army single-handedly. These heroes are not just warriors; they embody the epitome of valor and honor, standing as bastions of hope in times of darkness.

What truly sets the Holy Knights apart is their physical power and the profound magic that courses through their veins. This ancient sorcery transcends the limits of human understanding, granting them abilities that bend the very fabric of reality. Each knight is a master of their own unique magical skill set, which enhances their combat effectiveness and allows them to perform feats that would otherwise be impossible. From unleashing devastating elemental attacks to wielding protective barriers that can shield entire towns, their magical capabilities are awe-inspiring.

In Britannia, there are orders of Holy Knights within the kingdoms of Liones, Danafor (before its destruction by Fraudrin), Edinburgh (before it fell to the Vampires), Camelot, and Benwick. The Holy Knights in each kingdom's order are under the command of the order's Great Holy Knights.

Currently in Fort Solgales, a fortress located about seven miles northwest of Bernia village. The village is renowned for brewing the famous Bernia Ale. The ale is made from the river water that flows through the village, hailed as having the best sweetness, richness, and fragrance of apples in Britannia; along with grout (brewing herbs) that grow abundantly along the banks. In this fort resided two Holy Knights of Liones along with a few apprentice Holy Knights and a squadron of knights resided. The two Holy Knights were Gilthunder. A 21-year-old relatively tall and handsome man with neck-length light pink hair that has bangs hanging on the left side and blue eyes. He wore dark-colored full-body knight armor without a helmet and wielded a single-hand sword. The upper body armor is carved with several crosses and the symbol of the Holy Knights. He also has a leather waist belt fastened on top of his armor.

The other was Ardyn Chronis. Who stood 5'10 at 20 years old, and had a brown skin tone, smooth and unblemished. Shoulder-length black hair, tied loosely in the back to keep it manageable in combat. Piercing jade green eyes and a lean but muscular body honed through rigorous training. He wore full-body black knight armor without a helmet. His armor's boots and gauntlets had golden accents reminiscent of veins.

Sheethed on his hip was his trusted blade. A sleek, single-edged longsword with a silver blade etched with intricate patterns in a language lost to time. The hilt was wrapped in dark green leather, and the crossguard was shaped like an hourglass. The pommel is adorned with a small golden gemstone attuned to his magical power.

Ardyn was reading a book on the history of the Fairy King's Forest. On his left was a pile of books he had already read numbering at 24; on his right was the remaining book he was interested in reading at 15. He was leaning against the wall near the window on the highest floor of the fort. On the other hand, Gilthunder was seated on a throne-like chair in the center of the room, in line with the window. He was currently instructing the knights to increase the supply of laborers. Suddenly he senses potent magic approaching them at ridiculously high speeds. Upon focusing his senses on the approaching magic he realized he recognized it and he knew why it was approaching.

However, instead of raising his head from the book, he merely called out to the intended target of the attack."Gil" he said plainly causing Gilthunder to divert his attention from the knight to his friend and comrade. As he was about to ask why he called him. His eyes sharpened as he sensed the approaching attack.

~BOOM~

The attack struck creating a loud boom that shook the building and covered the area in dust. Exhaling with some frustration. Ardyn closed the book he was reading, planning to continue later as he had already memorized the page he was on.

He looked in the direction the attack had struck as he spoke."Looks like your hunch was right Gil" he said. The dust settled to reveal the sources of the impact.

The spear infused with Gilthunders' magical power 'Thunderbolt' was thrown back by someone capable of competing with a holy knight. Magical Powers are mysterious and supernatural abilities that allow their wielder to perform various techniques. Generally, it is unique to individuals. These abilities can be categorized into offensive, defensive, and support skills in battle.

Gilthunder with his head tilted to the side narrowly avoided the spear and struck his chair with such force that the residual power behind it traveled through the fortress destroying a large portion of it.

A small trickle of blood ran down the cut on his cheek. Gilthunder smirked as spoke" So you're still alive after all." he to no one in particular, but Ardyn heard him.

"Hmmm" knowing Gilthunder as long as he did. Ardyn knew what that cold look combined with that smirk meant. He stopped leaning on the wall and began walking towards the exit of the room. He paused at the door and looked back at Gilthunder who felt his gaze and turned. "Handle your business and meet me back in Liones," he said before he continued leaving.

Gilthunder smiled a little at that. His friend truly understood him. This was his revenge. He didn't want help and offering it would be an insult to all the training he did. But he also knew that Ardyn saying "meet me back in Liones" was his saying that he believed in his abilities.

After ordering some knights to pack his books and have them sent back to Liones. Ardyn left the fort a began walking back on foot.

-Small Timeskip-

In Baste Dungeon, the two guards guarding Ban's prison cell are seen commenting about Fort Solgales' destruction by Meliodas. As one of them expresses his worries, the other assures him that even the Seven Deadly Sins wouldn't be able to conquer or destroy the dungeon, since four Holy Knights who were chosen by the "best of the kingdom", the Weird Fangs, were guarding it. As they then comment about Ban's pitiful state as a prisoner and that his being alive is a miracle in itself, they hear him humming.

Meanwhile, Ardyn had made a stop on his way back to Liones in Kaynes Village. Kaynes Village is a small village located within Britannia. It is located east of Fort Solgales and Bernia. He was currently crouched by what remained of life as the rest seemed to have been cleanly sliced off. A similar occurrence happened to the tree in the clearing that was once a forest he watched through.

"Hmmm, Twigo's Magical Power I believe. But right here, almost instantaneously, much faster than an Apprentice Holy Knight like Twigo can achieve, double the magical output was redirected to his spot. Hmm,"

Ardyn got back up and started leaving the area. 'The Dragon Sin Of Wrath Meliodas was known to have an ability that allowed him to reflect magical attacks with double the power. A coincidence...unlikely. Factoring that with the distance between Bernia and Kaynes. This confirms it 100%...The Seven Deadly Sins live.'

"Tch," he said out loud as he suddenly stopped walking."Vivian!" he called out loud. A moment later the air rippled as some appeared in front of him. The person who appeared was a woman dressed in armor. This was the current greatest mage in the kingdom of Liones Vivian. Vivian has a short bob hairstyle with short bangs and brown eyes. She also has long eyelashes and a relatively short pair of eyebrows. Vivian wears a regal light red Holy Knight armor with a long dress that could not hide her curvaceous body. She wields an unusually large claw-like staff.

Upon seeing him she smiled sultrily with a blush adorning her cheeks. "Yes~ Ard-" before she could finish speaking, he pulled her into his embrace and captured her lips. Although taken by surprise she melted into the kiss and moaned as he grabbed her soft and perky ass. Mauling it with his right hand as his left hand secured her lower back. She moaned into his mouth from the sensation.

After a short intense make-out, he let her catch her breath. She bit her lips in anticipation as she caressed his armored chest. He held her. " Later," he said as he kissed her forehead causing her to pout. Leaving her like that after getting her started. But...he did say later.

"Teleport us back to the kingdom. I have news to report to the Great Holy Knight's Sir Dreyfus and Sir Hendrickson."

Hearing his serious tone she wasted no time. And they both vanished from the spot.
