"I can guarantee it's definitely him."
Aurelia spoke with absolute certainty, but her words disturbed the calm lake of Sofia Hamilton's mind.
"Think about it yourself. If there's nothing wrong with him, why would he go to the Cardiology Department?"
"What could possibly be wrong with him?" Sofia averted her gaze elsewhere, appearing indifferent on the surface, but deep down, her thoughts were in turmoil.
Aurelia pressed on, "Do you think he might have some kind of incurable illness and that's why he's trying to leave you?"
Sofia chuckled bitterly, "What nonsense are you talking about? Do you think this is some kind of soap opera?"
"I think it's entirely possible. Otherwise, I just can't understand why he suddenly let go."
In her view, Ryan Gregory was not the type of man who would go to such lengths to toy with women.
If he were playing around, he'd easily say yes to those pretty women who voluntarily threw themselves at him.
