Chapter 2 - Bloodline Memories

Chapter Two: Bloodline Memories

I had a very strange dream. I knew I was asleep, and everything I saw was a creation of my imagination. But, for some reason, I felt that every aspect of this dream was real.

It felt as if I were witnessing history through the eyes of someone else.

I dreamed of a crimson dragon born in a volcano. It was as if I were watching a long movie, with countless events unfolding before my eyes.

In that moment, I could feel the flow of energy around me, and I learned how to use it.

This crimson dragon was incredibly powerful, to the point that he alone forced humans, elves, and demons to unite against him after he destroyed a large part of the continent.

At that time, countless powerful individuals rose, and all of them fell under his grip.

The magic path cultivators and spiritual energy path cultivators dominated the battlefields, but they could not defeat him.

He crushed an army of three races who had sworn to defeat him, and yet… he defeated them all.

Humans were the weakest of the creatures.

And they were the first to withdraw from the battlefield.

Instead, the elves and demons continued their battles, while the war destroyed the entire kingdom.

Suddenly, I was overlooking a vast battlefield, which seemed to be the final decisive battle between the red dragon and the elves and demons allied against him.

Even the Elven King and the Demon King had intervened in this battle.

I felt that their very presence was obstructing the flow of energy, as if they weren't truly here.

I watched their battle flatten mountains, altering the entire landscape as they passed.

The Elven King and the Demon King didn't care for the lives of their followers, who were being killed by the thousands in each clash between them.

The Elven King was an elegant female, while the Demon King had horns and bat-like wings.

Chaos reigned over the entire battlefield.

There were no fires or any traces of energy left behind, and the flat land had now become a vast chasm.

It seemed as though this battle had split the land in two.

Into two continents.

When I turned to take a look at the dragon, our eyes met, and I felt a shiver run down my spine as those eyes seemed to travel across the barrier of space and time to descend upon me.

Through this dream, I learned many things, including that I acquired a name, then I learned how to train in using energy, and the stages of classification in the energy system.

Or rather, I became acquainted with the levels of the energy system according to the dragon race, which is divided into four main levels.

Each of these requires significant time and effort to accumulate, as it depends on the individual's talent and the level of their lineage to progress through each level.

At each stage of the fourth level, which pertains only to the dragon race, there is a difference in the classification of the energy system between dragons and other races, including monsters.

However, after completing this fourth level, the power classification becomes unified for all races, whether they are humans, demons, elves, or others, as it includes everyone.

According to the energy system classification by the dragon race, the first stage is:

The Hatching Stage – which is when the dragon emerges from the egg.

At this stage, the newly hatched dragon is given a special name, along with the name of their ancestor from whom they were born, that is, the family name.

After that, the dragon that has just emerged from the egg begins learning how to use the surrounding energy.

Then, he gradually prepares, integrates with the memories of the lineage he belongs to, and becomes deeply acquainted with them.

The second stage is called the Little Dragon Stage.

In this stage, the little dragon begins to fly and fully integrates with the memories of the bloodline.

This stage is considered the easiest.

The third stage

It is the most dangerous stage, called the Teenage Dragon Stage.

In this stage, the dragon is driven by instincts, such as his passion for killing, and gains more experience through daily battles, building his distinctive personality.

The fourth stage is divided into two sections and is called the Adult Dragon Stage.

In this section, the dragon has completed his adaptation to the memories of the bloodline, has built his personality, and becomes more understanding of himself and what he aspires to.

The second section is the True Dragon Stage.

This is the final section of this stage, where the dragon is considered to have reached full maturity, and thus must pass through the catastrophe of crossing.

After successfully passing the catastrophe, the dragon will gain the Dragon Power, the True Dragon Realm, the True Dragon Knowledge, and the True Dragon Spirit Realm.

After successfully passing this ordeal… and possessing these things, he is then considered a true dragon.

He will be recognized by all the dragon race clans as a true dragon.

And if he fails and does not die in the catastrophe, he will not be recognized as a true dragon; however, he will be considered only a sub-dragon, which means he is lesser than a true dragon.

Knowledge began to flow within me as if a river of ancient light had exploded in my depths… It was not words, nor images, but a raw sensation, its letters etched onto the wall of my soul.

In that moment, the secrets of the dragon lineage opened before me, like the pages of a book written in lava and snow, in war and peace, in life and death.

I realized then that every sentient being — whether dragon, jinn, demon, or human — is subject to a unified system of blood classification: ten great ranks, and each rank is divided into five degrees of purity.

From the natural bloodlines, where most creatures are born, to the imperial bloodlines, borne only by those destined to rule the realms.

And amidst that realization… I felt a different pulse in my chest. A pulse unlike that of humans.

Something awakened within me.

And with every beat… the voice of an ancient dragon whispered my name.

Through this vision, knowledge began to flow into me—pure, ancient, undeniable. It was as if I were reading from the very soul of the dragon lineage itself, and the first thing that was imprinted in my mind was the system of their bloodlines.

All intelligent races—whether dragons, jinn, demons, or humans—were subject to a unified classification of bloodline power: ten grand ranks, each divided into five levels of purity.

I found myself standing on the edge of an ancient time, overlooking a battlefield without end. The sky was draped in the color of blood, and the earth was split as if it had sighed from the horror of what had transpired upon it.

At the heart of that chaos stood the crimson dragon, alone… as if he were a mountain of frozen fire, radiating terror and majesty into every soul.

In front of him stood the Elven Queen, graceful as the still night, her eyes shining with noble sorrow. Beside her stood the Demon King, with horns touching the clouds and black wings stretching across the horizon.

It wasn't a battle between three powers… but between ancient wills, each seeking to reshape this world in its own image.

Mountains trembled, plains shattered, and forests turned to ash. Every strike carried the end of a world, and every roar inscribed the beginning of a legend.

Their followers? Nothing but ash scattered by the wind. They didn't care for them, didn't look back at them. In their fury, they had surpassed the boundaries of kingdoms, thrones, and blood.

I saw the earth split beneath their feet. Continents were torn apart, rivers changed course, and cities vanished into the depths of the ground.

And with every moment… the eyes of the crimson dragon drew closer to mine. Not as an enemy, but as a mirror. In his gaze, I saw something strange…

Something that dwells within me.

It is a bloodline.
