They rested in the shadow of fallen stone and shattered bone, the air still thick with the scent of dust and old magic.
Rama leaned back against the cool wall, his chest rising and falling steadily as he tried to calm his breath. Beside him, Axel wiped the sweat from his brow, the adrenaline still fading from his veins.
Neither spoke for a moment, the silence settling between them.
Shoji, on the other hand, said nothing at all. He already started his own healing appearantly.
He sat a short distance away, legs crossed and hands clasped together in front of his chest, the tips of his fingers glowing faintly. A soft glow enveloped him, blue Mana swirling softly around his body, tinged with threads of green. It pulsed gently in rhythm with his breath.
Rama stared at him for a while before whispering, "He's really able to healing himself."
Axel followed his gaze and blinked. "Yeah. I thought he was just a brawler, but he actually have something more than brute strength."
