After dismissing the reporter, Bell looked at Lucas and said, "Why do you have to be so ruthless? The paparazzi have it tough too..."
"How can you speak up for people like them? Just because they have it tough, they can destroy someone else's family?" Lucas interrupted Bell, unwilling to agree with her argument.
Bell thought to herself that their secret meeting in the middle of the night was indeed a fact. Wasn't Lucas the one who gave others the opportunity?
Of course, she couldn't say that out loud.
Now, her goal was to snatch Lucas away from Tina, but Lucas was completely clueless. She had been dropping hints, but he didn't respond at all.
Lucas checked the time and felt it was getting late. He said to Bell, "I'll drive you home. Don't come out for drinks late at night anymore. If something happens to you, it'll be your own doing."
After thinking for a moment, he added, "I won't be coming out anymore either."
