Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

He didn't know if Malfoy would ever be in a Muggle's prison. He only knew that he might have run into some trouble.

When he got home, he found that in addition to Narcissa and Lucius, there were two middle-aged men in uniform standing in the living room. All four of them had serious expressions.

"Baby, you're finally back. Did anything happen?" Narcissa saw that Malfoy was safe and hurried over to hug him, patting his back. Then she whispered in Malfoy's ear, "Go upstairs and sleep. Don't stay here."

"Don't protect him." Lucius's tone was colder than usual, and he took out a few letters. "Look at him. Look at the mess he's made." Lucius threw the letters on the table.

Malfoy opened the letter. It read:

Mr. Malfoy: We received a report that at 3: 40 p.m. today, you used a Stun Spell on a Muggle in a Muggle residence in Little Hangerton.

As you know, underage wizards are not allowed to use magic outside the school. If you do this again, you may be expelled from the school. (Act to Impose Reasonable Restrictions on Underage Wizards, 1875, Section 3)

In addition, please remember that according to Section 13 of the International Wizard Union's Secrecy Act, any magical activity that may attract the attention of non-members of the magic community (Muggles) is a serious offense.

Have a good holiday! Mafalda Hopkirk: The Ministry of Magic prohibits the misuse of magic.

"This is a little troublesome," Malfoy muttered.

"A little troublesome?" Lucius's voice grew louder. "Look again!" he growled, losing his usual elegant demeanor.

Malfoy then opened another letter.

It read:

Mr. Malfoy: We received a report that at 4: 30 p.m. today, you used a Muggle Spell on an area in a Muggle residence in Little Hangerton.

Mafalda Hopkirk The Ministry of Magic forbids the misuse of magic.

The contents of the next few letters were almost the same, but the name of the curse had been changed.

The last letter:

"In view of your previous actions, you have seriously violated the confidentiality laws of the International Wizard Federation. We have decided to give you a severe punishment. According to our understanding, your performance in Hogwarts seems to be excellent. Under the guarantee of Professor Dumbledore, we will not expel you, but we will confiscate your wand and return it to you at a later date as punishment."

"Your warning letter was sent to my house. My baby didn't see it," Narcissa defended Malfoy loudly.

"Calm down, madam." The taller of the two adepts spoke slowly.

"We're just following orders." Another slightly shorter and fatter adept added.

"Hand over the wand." Lucius's voice became increasingly gloomy.

"I think I'm willing to cooperate with the Ministry of Magic." Malfoy nodded. He handed his wand over to the tall and skinny wizard.

"No!" Narcissa let out a high-pitched scream, obviously unable to accept the fact that her son had been punished.

The two wizards from the Ministry of Magic couldn't help but show a hint of surprise on their faces. Obviously, they had been through hundreds of battles. They had seen a lot of little wizards who used magic outside the school. However, when they were really punished, the little guy's crying face was definitely considered light. There were also a lot of people who cried loudly. When they really wanted to take away the wand, most of them would definitely hold it tightly. It was the first time they had met such a calm little wizard today. They couldn't help but be surprised.

"What an admirable calmness." The two praised at the same time. "I believe this incident was just a small misunderstanding."

"We will explain the situation to our superiors." The short and fat wizard said. Obviously, today's matter had been resolved very easily. He couldn't help but have a good impression of Malfoy. He even suspected that there was a mistake. How could such a well-behaved child break the law?

"Thank you very much." Lucius nodded to them.

"Alright, we have to go back to report. It's getting late." The tall and skinny wizard said.

"Stay and eat something. There are desserts prepared here." Narcissa seemed to be making a last-ditch effort to please them, hoping to reduce the punishment.

"Madam, thank you for your kindness, but we are also very busy." The tall and skinny wizard rejected the proposal.

Then the two of them walked out of Malfoy's house. They must have used Phantom Transference. Their bodies gradually became transparent and finally disappeared into the void.

"Lucius!" Narcissa shouted at Lucius, obviously venting her dissatisfaction.

"Oh, Narcissa, calm down." Lucius was very relaxed now, unlike his cold and serious tone just now.

"You're telling me to calm down? Our son was almost expelled! Those two guys even took away the wand. How can I calm down? " Narcissa was now a little hysterical. Any mother who heard that their child was almost expelled would have the same reaction.

"Don't worry," Lucius said softly. "You have to learn from our son. Look at how calm he is." As he spoke, he glanced at Malfoy, only to see Malfoy standing silently by the table. He looked relaxed and unaffected.

He continued to play it down. "When the Ministry of Magic does something, everyone has to give some face. On the surface, it's official business, and everyone looks good. As for what was said in the letter. " Lucius seemed to snort. "Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic don't get along. The more he pleads, the more the Ministry of Magic will want to annoy him. If they really fire him, they definitely won't tell the old man about it."

"As for the wand, well, I think I had a meal with him a few days ago. It's not that easy to get sponsorship." Lucius seemed to have remembered something.

"Who is he?" Narcissa asked.

"The boss of those two guys just now is looking for investments for an activity fund," Lucius said with a smile.

"Oh." Narcissa seemed to have lost all her strength and slumped in the chair. She seemed to be completely relieved. Lucius had made it clear enough.

"I'm also a person with a backer." Seeing this, Malfoy was already mentally prepared. With Lucius's extremely protective personality, it should have been an act.

"Besides, our little guy can almost cast spells without a wand." As he spoke, Lucius patted Malfoy's shoulder with a proud expression.

"Let's not talk about that. Let's talk about something else." Lucius changed the topic that didn't seem very pleasant.

"How did you torture that Muggle? Petrification spell? Well, the letter just now said that you used a stun spell. "Lucius was obviously more interested in this. "How could you use a stun spell to torture a Muggle? He wouldn't have been able to withstand the pain and fear. You should have … "Then Lucius began to talk about how he tortured the Muggle back then and began to teach Malfoy" by example. "

Then he said in an admiring tone, "Finally, you expelled the Muggles from the scene so that the Muggles wouldn't discover the scene. This is quite good. Very cautious." He patted Malfoy's shoulder encouragingly and said, "As expected of my son."

"Okay, stop talking about your nonsense." Narcissa interrupted Lucius. She was in a much better mood and her tone was lighter. "Baby, you must be exhausted today. You still have to go back to school tomorrow. Go to sleep. You still have to wake up early."

"Yes, Mother." Malfoy felt as if he had been pardoned. He was obviously not interested in the "torture" and turned to walk to his room.

"I haven't told him about the Unforgivable Curse yet." Lucius patted his head in annoyance. Seeing Malfoy return to his room, Lucius's mood sank.

"Do you want our son to go to Azkaban for a walk?"

"No, no, no." Lucius quickly denied. "I won't say it, I won't say it." Then he laughed awkwardly.

"It's just an introduction. I won't teach him," Lucius muttered.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing." Lucius spread

out his hands to show his innocence.

Night fell, and all was quiet in Malfoy Hall. It was a silent night.
