A few days passed after that.
There was nothing that happened during these few days other than going around the Elven Kingdom being guided by the Elven King.
With how much time he spent with us, it really seemed like there was nothing better for him to do.
Though I knew that this wasn't the case.
It was clear what the Elven King had been planning by following us around like this.
The one thing that he did the most was keep his eyes on me.
It was as if he didn't trust me, which was why he was keeping his eyes on me at all times.
Though it wasn't as if the others weren't watched either.
There were plenty of high elves that came along with us during this time.
While they didn't come as close to me as the Elven King did, they did stay near the other humans. They didn't talk as much to the royal guards as the Elven King did with me, but they still talked to them from time to time.
