I slowly gave a nod in response to this while looking closely at Aisha's face, waiting to see how she would react to this.
Aisha didn't show much of a reaction other than to raise her brow to look at me as if she was still trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.
But I didn't say anything as I waited for a reaction from her.
There was a long silence that hung there in the air as she silently looked at me like this.
Eventually, she said, "Just what are you planning to do?"
I looked right into her eyes as I said, "Before I answer that question, I just want to know if you want to become the ruler or not."
"I've never thought about it and I'll be honest, it's not something that I particularly want to do. However, I'm sure that you have your reason for bringing this up, so I'm willing to listen." Aisha said in a calm voice.
I looked at her for a bit before slowly nodding and telling her what I knew.
