"M-Maria! Don't be mean with your kitty!"
Alma reprimanded me as she saw me pulling Beatriz's tail angrily.
She grabbed the cat and embraced her in her arms, rubbing her cute chin over the cat's head.
"Did she hurt you? You're okay with me now!"
"Nyaaah! Nyaaah!"
Beatriz started purring and rubbing her face over Alma's chin, while glaring at me with a feline smile, showing me her sharp fangs.
"You damn kitten!" I roared angrily. "Alma don't be charmed by her! She's actually evil! She's a familiar that's always messing with me. We were trapped in there and she didn't even save us!"
"Of course she didn't! I bet she turned into a small, helpless kitten or something…" Alma said. "Be glad she wasn't killed or something!"
"Aaah…" I sighed.
It was pointless to argue, to them she was only a cat-shaped familiar, and they had absolutely no idea she was actually a Nightmare Demon!
