As soon as Ji Yanyu took a step into his dream university, a gush of spring breeze blew straight to his shaggy brown hair and cleared away the obstruction on his stunned face hidden by an extra-thick, extra-large reading glasses.
"...Oh shit. I'm in an apocalyptic novel." The sudden realization struck him dumbfounded and silent.
Looking at the huge amount of people that could add up to more than a thousand inside the hallways of the campus, Ji Yanyu did not hesitate to retract his foot and swiftly turn away.
Jus at that single second, Ji Yanyu had experienced what they call 'overturning', he felt like he's about to have social phobia.
And in that split second, he was welcomed by familiar memories of a 25 year old, white-collar middle-aged nerd. The most prominent memory was the novel that he last read before getting hit by a thunderbolt that came out of the clear skies.
Ji Yanyu clicked his tongue and thought, a nerd in the last life, a nerd forever he is.
Focusing on the novel, he felt quite aggrieved.
Just base on his memories, he could already foresee his role as a passerby then, it just downgraded to a fodder this time.
What made it worse was his despicable ending. Now it's not just lightning, this time he will be eaten to pieces by zombies.
On the whole story, the only part he could look at favorably was his future ability, a space user.
Ji Yanyu laughed evilly at the thought and quickly rode a cab back to the house left to him by his grandparents who died two years ago.
Thinking of those two old men, Ji Yanyu couldn't help but feel relieved that they don't need to experience the cruel world of the apocalypse, at least now they're peacefully living in their own respective graves.
Ji Yanyu walked into his old-fashioned house similar to Japanese style wooden houses and walked inside, now that he's at a peaceful place he suddenly fell silent.
Ji Yanyu sat cross-legged on the floor and took out an empty book that he was planning to use for his Biology class and thought about his future plans.
Recalling everything that took place in the novel, he listed all the important places and scenarios that would benefit his survival.
Thinking of dying under a zombie hoard, Ji Yanyu couldn't help but shiver.
In the novel, he was quite insignificant in the whole plot, since he was a space user, he was fortunate enough to enter a large team with powerful individuals. Unfortunately, that only led to his doom.
Since the team leader was quite arrogant and knew how to actively seek death, his comrades was affected, including him, and faced an early death at the mid 30th chapter of the novel.
In this life, he'll surely avoid that leader..! ( ;∀;)
Ji Yanyu listed the foods and other necessities that he'll probably need in the apocalypse, since he has limited inheritance, he has to be particular about what he'll buy with the only money he have left.
Ji Yanyu was determined to survive, and at the very least, die painlessly..
Should he prepare suicidal equipment that would result to a painless and quick death? No, no, just a waste of money.
He looked at his list and was extremely satisfied, then went on writing the important scenarios that he could recall, devising appropriate plans for his future actions.
First of all: Hug the golden thigh
As a cannon fodder, he is blessed with mid-rank luck, mid-rank ability, mid-rank face, in layman's terms, he have the potential to switch roles!
Instead of becoming a zombie food cannon fodder, he'll become the dog licking cannon fodder!
Then next, stay in the golden thigh's base
Base on the novel, the base that will soon be built by the protagonist and his entourage will become the safest base in City A and will become the city that will usher the change in the apocalyptic era.
So, from cannon fodder to a passerby, isn't it an amazing plan?
Then afterwards, hook up with an ordinary 1.9 meters tall male with high nose-bridge, gentle eyes, and buff muscles! Of course, preferably someone with an extra-long and extra-thick sausage stick.

Ji Yanyu looked at his list and felt like it's still too early to have fun.
