His enlightenment did not last long, relatively speaking, and in just a few days Lex woke up from his trance. The more he learned about Karma, the more he appreciated just how deep and unpredictable a field this was.
Even if the definition of good and bad Karma could be narrowed down to what was good and bad for the universe, Lex did not think that's all there was to it. After all, if the focus of Karma was simply to promote the growth of the universe, why could it be used to do great harm?
Why had his imbalance of Karma threatened him? Why were Dao Lords still unsure of its depths?
He was fortunate that there were still many things he did not understand about Karma, meaning that there were directions for him to research on. But if there were ever a day he no longer had questions, he would have to remind himself to stay humble, and look deeper into this field.
