"Go jump of a building you damn red halo!" exclaimed a boy after slamming Hiro's head on his desk then laughing like a maniac right after.
Hiro walked out the room with a bloody nose not showing a reaction. He just wanted to get rid of the torture but couldn't. He was the weakest in the class a Red Halo.
Hiro lived in a world of Demons and Heroes. although his name was Hiro he was the weakest and was never able to stop the bullying and harassment. He walked to the Nurse's office and as he opened the door the Nurse shouted, "Jim I told you for the last time that you shouldn't eat the gum under the des... Oh Hiro you have a bloody nose, did you get into another fight!" she said angry as she bonked his head. "Ow!" he whined "I tell you all the time it's one sided bullying I didn't start a fight," he said rubbing his head. "Oh okay, well try to avoid them," she said handing him a ice pack "put that on your nose and you'll be better in no time". "Okay well bye," said Hiro walking to class.
When he reached he heard a familiar voice and for once it wasn't a bad thing. "Hey Hiro" said the voice. "Alyssa you finally came back from studies," said Hiro as he hugged her. Alyssa was Hiro's first and only friend, they had met in middle school and were friends since then.
Alyssa was a black halo meaning she was a candidate for demon king. Although she was a black halo she didn't care about Hiro's red halo and they always stuck together but after a few years Alyssa's family had to move because of her dads job but they promised to meet each other again.
Hiro let go of her and jokingly said, "I thought you had forgotten our promise." Alyssa softly punched his arm and said, " do you think I'd ever forget my best friend." Hiro smiled and said, "well let's go to the tree house and catch up."
When they were in middle school Alyssa used her magic to make a treehouse in the giant tree behind her house. When she left she asked Hiro to look after it and Hiro has been cleaning it since.
"It looks just like when I left it," said Alyssa jumping from joy. When they entered she saw all the paintings and drawings they made as kids hung up on the wall and all of their inventions which they would make in their free time on a giant table.
When Alyssa saw this she started crying and hugged Hiro. "Thank you so much I missed this treehouse so much," she said as she let go of Hiro. "It was no problem he said as he walked towards the paintings and drawings."
After they caught up for some while they went to a coffee shop nearby and had coffee. They had so much fun and after all of this. "Well Hiro see ya tomorrow' bye" said Alyssa. "Bye," replied Hiro as they split of to their homes.
When Hiro reached the Orphanage. "Where were you Hiro" said Hiro's caretaker Darcy, she was always worried for Hiro because of the constant bullying he had to face and thought that is why he was late. "It's okay Darcy, I was actually meeting an old friend. Darcy was shocked as she had never heard Hiro mention of a single friend. "Ok well go to sleep the rest of the boys are already asleep," said Darcy as she walked to her room.
Hiro then started walking upstairs when a bag suddenly covered his face and he was knocked out. He could hear faint laughing and saw a man with blonde hair carrying him and then he blacked out.
After a while Hiro woke up tied to a chair and his mouth was covered with tape. Suddenly the door slammed open and the same man walked in but with 2 other men. Hiro was panicking not knowing what they would do to him and what they wanted from him. Suddenly the blonde hair guy spoke up "Hiro Kasegaya, son of Army General Davidson Kasegaya and Hailey Parks, mother died at the age of three, father died at age 10, currently an orphan demon with a red halo, Father and mother weren't demons."
Hiro was shocked at how much they knew about him. Then the man on the right said, "Relax dude we aren't bad guys and we only wanted to train you and knocking you out was easier than explaining everything to you there."
Hiro felt a sense of Relief wash over him as he saw the two guys untie him. He got up and asked, "who are you guys." "Oh us we are...

Explanation of the halos :-
Red Halo : weakest and most common halo
Dark Green Halo : second weakest and uncommon also useful for jobs such as construction, etc.
Dark Blue : in the middle and also rare you can be a demon soldier with it
Grey : very rare and you are almost guaranteed a high position in the demon army
Black : it is almost impossible to get and it can be passed down, the black halo means you have a lot of power and you are a demon king candidate meaning you have a chance to be demon king and if not you get a high-ranking position in the army
