Chapter 4 - 3 Meet the rest of the family

The sun has risen over the territory of the Bayern's. It has been 7 months since his rebirth Lucius is adapting to his life.

In the nursery our deceptive baby is awake and standing using the railing? The maid almost fell over witnessing this "My Lord you may want to see this!" the maid with a frantic expression on her face.

Lord Bayern was quite surprised to see his son standing up right in his crib. Making his way to to the crib he observed his son with a stoic look "Hmm I'm not to impressed his sister was standing a week earlier than this" he said making it sound harsh.

Franz Bayern was not a easily impressed man do to this his children didn't have a particularly good relationship with him. "My lord it's surprising because he never attempted to do this before it's almost like he knew already" the maid said not realizing that her lord had a wary look at his only son.

"No matter unless he can speak or use his magic this was a waste of time. Do to being the head of the family his time was spent managing the house and upholding terms with other nobles.

People often say be careful what you wish for it may just happen.

"Fat-her" came out of Lucius's mouth, the Lord had froze at this and the maid as well. "Did he just say that or am I losing my marbles" the Lord said looking at the maid who hasn't responded.

Picking up his son "Can you say again?" hoping it wasn't a fluke and Lucius did not disappoint "father" he said waving his arms up and down with a aloof look on his face.

"By the heavens you can talk!" this gave Franz a genuine feeling of happiness that didn't happen to often, smiling at his son who was giggling and activated his powers glowing blue. 'Impossible this ability has been gone for the last 60 years why show up now!!' Franz was panicking for 2 reasons, 1 this power was incredibly rare and powerful, 2 it would also bring marriage contracts to his doorsteps.

Despite being cold on the outside he cared very much for his children not wanting to force them into marriage on the simple whim of raising their status. 'I must not let anyone find out about this or the royal family will attempt to plant there ideals in his head.

You will become something more than a noble my boy you will become the pinnacle of this kingdom or the greatest tragedy that shames our name for all eternity'.

Lucius had no idea what his father was thinking about, but one thing for sure his childhood would never be how it should have been.
