Just as everyone present was somewhat perplexed, the withered old corpse on the ground suddenly twitched, followed by a "puff" sound. A greenish imp burst forth from the top of its head, transformed into a swift green shadow, and darted out of the grand hall at an incredible speed.
"Trying to escape!"
Liu Ming sneered coldly, and with a flick of his sleeve, a streak of black light shot out. It was much faster than the green shadow and caught up with the little green figure in a blur. With a flash of black light, the black light transformed into a gigantic black hand that viciously grabbed downward.
The green imp let out a piercing scream and its body shone with a surge of green light, doubling its speed instantly. It split into five separate green figures, each flying off in different directions, narrowly escaping the grasp of the big black hand.
"Humph!"
