The head of the light council, Mr. Fynn is standing in the center of the grand arcana. A coliseum filled with a diverse audience from different regions and cities with different ranks.
"People of Elysium! Are you ready?" He excitedly asked the audience while stretching his arms as if he was embracing the world. "We are gathering here today to witness the awakening of elemental powers of the 5th generation of chosen children," he added, while walking around the stage while his hand motions in a graceful manner that adds imaginary trails of glittering water.
"This will be the mark of the new official Beta, the second to the highest rank in our power hierarchy." He walks towards the center of the stage and stands tall, confidently lifting his head. "Allow me to introduce the chosen children," he added, bowing his head.
In a snap of an eye, four teenagers entered the stage. Then, the Grand Arcana went wild.
This is the day of awakening of their powers which they waited for and paid off for their years of intense training and rigorous missions.
"Elysium, let's welcome the Chosen of the Water, Lady Aella Thalassa, the princess of the Aquaria Palace."
A girl with a small, heart-shaped face with a slightly pointed chin. A cerulean colored eyes, full lips, and a petite and refined nose. She has long and wavy deep blue hair with light blue highlights. She is wearing a flowing blue dress that looks like water waves.
Her aura screams elegance and softness. She is a girl known to be kind and gentle but she is also the most powerful among them. Like water, she is gentle in every motion, she is soft in every word.
"The Chosen of the Earth, Master Tellus Rune, the prince of Terra Palace."
A guy with a strong jawline and a defined chin. He has a mixture of deep-set brown and green eyes with a piercing gaze. His nose is straight, his forehead is broad. He has a slightly longer and tousled hairstyle. He is wearing a robe with a combination of brown and green.
Despite his strong aura and appearance, he is known to be playful and energetic. Like earth, he is steady underfoot yet is full of surprises.
"The Chosen of the Air, Lady Aerona Zephyr, the princess of Aerilon Palace."
A girl with a fierce rounded face but a heart-shaped face with delicate cheekbones and a slightly upturned nose. She has a siren and azure eyes. Her lips could be full and sensual and her jawline could be delicately defined. She has white long, flowing white hair. She is wearing a long white dress with some gold lining.
Her aura screams classy yet deadly. She is known to be rough and harsh. Like air, she is untamed and wild.
"The Chosen of the Fire, Master Valen Ember, the prince of Ignis Palace."
A very fierce looking guy with a sharp and chiseled jawline and prominent cheekbones. His siren eyes have a color of fiery copper. He has long, wavy, and dark hair that frames his face with a touch of unruly curls at the temples. A streak of red highlights runs through his hair. He is wearing a crimson robe with a few streaks of black, and embroidery of flames.
His aura and appearance totally match. He is known to be cold and fierce. Like fire, he is cold in his gazes, he is sharp in his purpose.
After their entrance, Mr. Fynn proudly said, "They are the ones who were born to bear the elemental powers, and today, their full powers are going to be awakened."
The grand arcana is filled with shouts and cheers. They cheered for their respective princess and prince from their cities and palaces.
After a few minutes, a four Epsilon—a Palace servant, entered the Hall holding a golden plate with the floating and shining elemental stones. They put the golden plate in the center table, facing the four chosen children.
"Now, the four elemental stones are here! I am asking the four chosen to step in, and go to your respective stones."
The four chosen children drew closer to the elemental stone. Upon reaching it, they opened their palms and waited for their stone to get on.
The first stone to float towards its designated bearer is the water stone. As it touches the aura of Aella, it suddenly goes up while creating water like fireworks. In a few seconds, sparkling water is circling around Aella, which exhibits a fascinating happening.
It fully surrounds her in a few minutes and as the water fades around, it reveals the more powerful aura of Aella, wearing the "Ocean's Embrace", a sacred gown created by the stone itself. It is made with aquamarine silk with shimmering silver embroidery, it gives an illusion of waves pattern. The skirt flares out from the waist, the hem has silver threads that resemble water droplets.
She is also wearing the water tiara called "Aquamarine Crown", it is a silver tiara carved with aquamarine stones. Her hair is styled loose and elegantly braided with silver beads that resemble seashells. She is also wearing silver accessories with glowing and shimmering white pearls.
That transformation is the indication that the water stone officially recognized Aella as its bearer. The crowd went wild upon witnessing that Aella became the official Beta.
On the other hand, the earth stone slowly went to Tellus's palm, and upon it reached his aura. The stone also went up and it rained flower petals. In a few seconds, numerous flowers surround him.
After that, he emerged wearing the "Earth's Mantle". It is a long, flowing tunic crafted from a luxurious, deep forest green. It has a fancy design of swirling and stylized tree branches and leaves. It has a high collar that can be worn up or down, and the sleeves have a subtle, flowing design. He is wearing trousers made of brown linen and fitted at the waist and flowing slightly at the legs. The trousers have a simple design with minimal embellishments of the root pattern. It also has a wide leather belt with a bronze buckle that depicts a stylized tree root.
He is also wearing a cloak in shades of deep green and brown with an embroidered pattern of leaves, roots, and trees. And, wearing sturdy leather boots, reaching mid-calf, crafted from a rich, brown leather. It has a slight, upward curve at the heel.
He wears a necklace of polished stones, a combination of jade and amber, and a stone ring encircles his finger. Lastly, he wears the "Forest Crown"- a tiara crafted from a combination of aged, polished wood and carvings of intertwined tree roots and leaves. The central point that rises upwards, mimicking the shape of a tall and oak tree.
The audience went wild again upon seeing Tellus becoming an official Beta and earth stone bearer. He playfully uses his newly acquired power by making it rain of flowers to the grand arcana.
Meanwhile, the air stone moves next towards Aerona's palm. It encircles her with a gentle tornado, revealing her wearing "Windwhisper", a sacred gown made by the air stone. It is a turtleneck with a long, flowing gown of soft, sky-blue silk with a combination of white faded lines. The sleeves are wide and flowing from the shoulders with a ruffled effect that mimics the movement of clouds. The skirt flares out from the waist, forming a long, flowing train, reflecting the lightness and freedom of the wind.
She is wearing a delicate silver chain necklace and her wrists are adorned with thin silver bracelets. She wears transparent high heels.
Her white hair is just long and flowing, but she is also wearing a silver tiara called the "Sky Weaver Tiara", it is crafted from a combination of silver and a delicate, translucent material that mimics the look of clouds. It had a central element that resembles a stylized bird in flight.
For the last stone, Valen with his open palm is waiting for the fire stone to move into his hand. All eyes are focused on the fire stone, waiting for it to move.
However, after a few minutes, nothing happened. The fire stone did not move.
Another 10 minutes passed.
The crowd started to mumble and whisper as they are also confused about the happenings. The three newly awakened Beta are also confused about the fire stone not coming into Valen's hand.
"What now? It's been a few minutes, what are you doing?" Aerona is getting irritated, raising her eyebrow and scrunching up her face.
"Aerona—" she was called by Aella in a soft voice, hoping that Aerona does not say anything bad that would cause more pressure on Valen. "Can you move a little closer? You can do it, Valen." She gently leaned towards Valen, trying to give motivation and hope.
Valen tried to move his palm closer to the stone but nothing was happening, the stone did not move.
They are confused and puzzled. Valen glances around and looks at the three newly Beta with wrinkled forehead and confused eyes, looking for answers. He is full of sweat and swallowing excessively.
"We can use our stone to talk to the fire stone, let me try it," Tellus said and he moved closer to the fire stone. Wishing that the earth stone will answer their questions.
He opened his palm and the earth stone came out.
A few minutes passed.
"I do not understand. My stone told me that he cannot reach the fire stone." Tellus looked at the Beta, he slightly tilted his head and lines were forming between his eyebrows.
Aerona and Aella also come closer and try the action done by Tellus. Now, three of them with their stones are surrounding the fire stone while Valen is on the side, waiting for the three stone's answers.
All of them were shocked and confused as a few minutes passed by.
The fire stone is fading, it is gradually disappearing.
Looking at each other, their eyes are asking for answers but none of them know what is happening.
None of them can understand what was happening.
As the stone started to vanish, it shimmered once more, for the last time…. then it vanished into thin air, leaving no trace that an elemental stone was there.
