Chapter 5 - Chapter 5. Is Our Young Master Who Is Imperious To The Female Gender Having A Girlfriend We Don't Know Off

Chapter 5

As Esther stood in the studio, the smell of alcohol wafted through the air, making her wrinkle her nose in distaste.

Lachlan's eyes seemed to glaze over, his movements becoming more erratic as he leaned against the wall.

The dim lighting cast long shadows across the floor, making Lachlan's figure seem almost menacing. Esther's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing through the darkness.

She knew better than to trust Lachlan's behavior, knew that he was playing a game that she didn't fully understand.

As she spoke, her voice was cold and detached, a shield that protected her from Lachlan's unpredictable behavior. "Why did you come here at such a late hour, Young Master, knowing fully well of your intoxication?"

Lachlan's smirk only grew wider not intending on answering her question, his eyes glinting with amusement. He leaned his head against the wall, his black jet hair covering his eyes, making him seem almost nonchalant.

Esther's eyes flashed with anger, her ten toes curling with frustration. She scoffed at Lachlan's inability to walk properly, her disdain evident in her expression. She silently hoped he died because of his heavy intoxication.

But as Lachlan held her wrist and pulled her into his embrace, Esther's heart skipped a beat.

His lips grazed her neck, sending shivers down her spine. His voice was deep and hoarse, his words sending a chill down her spine.

"If something happens to me, senorita, tomorrow would be hell for you. Don't think I came unplanned."

Esther's frown deepened, her eyes locking onto Lachlan's cloudy gaze. She saw the unsincerity and nefariousness in his eyes, and her smirk only grew wider.

"What if I actually want to die after killing you, what then?" she asked, her voice cool and detached. Lachlan's gaze seemed to bore into hers, his eyes flashing with uncertainty.

He knew that Esther was capable of anything, knew that she had the blood of murderers running deep in her veins.

As Esther released his grip and calmly stated, "Master Lachlan, isn't it inappropriate to flirt with your personal maid?" Lachlan's smirk only grew wider.

"Inappropriate?! The best words to describe this! It is sinful. Cause you, senorita, you are my sin." The air seemed to vibrate with tension, the silence between them palpable.

Esther's eyes locked onto Lachlan's, her gaze piercing through the darkness. What was in them were pure killing intent.

...

As she guided Lachlan to the car, the guards nearby watched in awe, their eyes wide with shock and perplexity.

The young master, known for his ruthlessness and imperiousness, was allowing a meek girl to hold him with no hint of disdain on his face.

They inwardly ponder if they were going to have a Miss. Stokes very soon.

Meanwhile...

Inside the car, Esther's face flushed red with anger and authority. She was clearly irritated with Lachlan's unwavering presence—and if she was given a weapon she wouldn't hesitate to strike him.

"Where to, young Mistress?" the driver asked, his eyes filled with shock and uncertainty.

Esther's gaze was blank, her voice firm. "Imperial Manor."

The driver nodded, his eyes darting between Esther and Lachlan. He was just as shocked to see Lachlan entangled in a woman's arms. The first question that popped up in his mind was; When Did Lachlan become Intoxicated "

He clearly remembered he drove Lachlan straight to the Studio, without stopping at any convience store, so is the Young Master pretending.

But he couldn't figure out why Lachlan would pretend when he could easily charm any girl he pleased.

Only if this girl was adamant and feisty. He was thinking so much, he started developing a headache.

Imperial Mansion...

As they arrived at the Imperial Manor, Esther instinctively led Lachlan to the master bedroom, her movements swift and decisive.

She pushed him onto the bed, her eyes flashing with anger and frustration.

"Master Lachlan, you should rest," she said, her voice cold and detached. But as she turned to leave, Lachlan's strong arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her back onto the bed.

The room seemed to spin around her, the darkness closing in like a vice. Esther's heart was racing, her senses on high alert as she realized that she was trapped.
