Arthur flung the Abomination away, then shook his hand with a sigh. "So fucking weak..."
The Abomination roared as he angrily leapt out of the destroyed building and landed hard on the ground cracking it. He glared furiously at Arthur before snarling menacingly, "I'm going to tear you apart for that, you bastard!"
The Abomination charged, running with great speed for a monster of its size towards Arthur. Arthur snorted as he took off leaving a small crater where he once stood, rushing to meet the monster. Their distance closed quickly, their speeds increasing until, their fists collided.
BOOOM!!!!
The impact generated a massive shockwave, windows shattered, cars were flung away and the ground beneath their feet exploded. A massive cloud of dust shrouded the area.
When the dust settled, a tall muscular figure stood unmoving, in the middle of the road, while the enormous monster laid on the ground not far away, its right arm grotesquely deformed and broken in multiple places.
From the chopper above, the general stared at the scene below, dumbfounded. "What's happening? Who is he? How can someone possess such immense power?"
The surrounding soldiers who had long since retreat further from the two superpowered beings looked at Arthur as if he were a monster. At that moment, a tremendous roar echoed from the distance: "ROAARR" A huge green figure was seen in the sky closing in fast.
"Is he finally here? Banner," Arthur murmured, looking at the green figure.
"Roar...BANNERRRRR!!!" The Abomination stood up again, enraged at the sight of the familiar green figure. He pulled back his mutilated arm and lumbered step by step, accelerating into a furious charge towards the Hulk completely ignoring Arthur who just calmly stepped to the side clearly amused by the situation.
Banner, having transformed into the Hulk, also charged towards the Abomination with tremendous speed. The two colossal figures gained speed and drew closer, finally colliding with a resounding bang.
As a result, the Abomination was sent flying by a punch from the Hulk. Everyone watching felt a strange sense of déjà vu.
Witnessing the two enormous figures grappling, with cars being tossed around like toys, the soldiers regained their composure and resumed firing at the Abomination.
Arthur glanced at the two raging giants, then ran towards the rear of the scene. His highly sensitive hearing had picked up a faint cry for help coming from under a collapsed building.
Arthur approached a large boulder, gripped it with both hands, and forcefully lifted it, pushing it aside. From beneath, he pulled out a blood-soaked man and laid him on the ground. He then rescued four more people from the ruins in quick succession.
"Call an ambulance!" Arthur instructed a soldier, who immediately grabbed his walkie-talkie.
The Hulk and the Abomination continued their fierce and chaotic battle, while Arthur focused on rescuing the injured.
Arthur moved an overturned car and pulled a little boy from underneath it. There were no more cries for help nearby; everyone who could be found had been rescued. Arthur finally breathed a sigh of relief.
The little boy looked up at the older brother who had saved him and asked, "Um...," he twiddled his fingers nervously. "Can I ask your name?"
Arthur hesitated for a moment before replying, "I am Aquaman!"
The Hulk and the Abomination fought wildly, exchanging punches, neither able to gain a decisive advantage over the other. Although the Hulk had the upper hand in strength, the Abomination's regeneration was incredibly strong, healing himself as quickly as he was damaged.
Confirming there was no one else to rescue, Arthur rushed towards the Abomination, his forming vanishing for a split second before he appeared in front of the Abomination punching it squarely in the face. Time seemed to stand still as the monster's face warped around his fist before its body shot backwards.
Arthur followed closely, repeatedly punching the Abomination, leaving it no chance to fight back. With a powerful uppercut, the abomination's head snapped back as it was flung into the air. Suddenly a thick metal chain wrapped around its neck choking it.
Arthur looked back and saw the Hulk gripping the other side of the chain ready to pull. Thinking quickly, he crouched and jumped into the air with a powerful leap, gripping the other end of the chain, he landed with a roll, turning quickly he wrapped the chain around he hand and he and the Hulk pulled simultaneously.
CRUNCHHH!!!
A sickening crunch echoed through through the air as the Abomination's head flew off its body and landed on the ground with a gross wet thud. Arthur took a few deep breaths and threw the chain to the ground. The Abomination's severed necked squirted its yellow lifeblood before falling to the ground in a crumpled heap.
The Abomination was finally dead. The Hulk glanced at Arthur, snorted before leaping away, with a series of powerful jumps, he scaled a building and leaped into the distance. Arthur watched as the Hulk departed and decided to leave the scene himself. With a powerful leap his body launched into air, he gripped the side of a building, his fingers digging into the concrete and leapt away.

A short while later, we see soldiers at the chaotic battleground. Looking at the gruesome headless corpse on the ground. General Thaddeus Ross remained silent as he looked at the carnage then at the corpse of his former soldier.
The next day, the Atlantis restaurant's TV broadcasted the news from the previous night: "A colossal grey monster appeared in the heart of Manhattan last night and engaged in a fierce battle with our military! Unfortunately, the monster proved too powerful and the military was defeated!"
"Witnesses at the scene have reported seeing a massive green monster fighting the huge yellow monster, and it appeared a human was also involved!"
"In this incident, 32 people were killed, 208 were seriously injured, and 87 sustained minor injuries. Among the injured, 41 individuals stated that a hero named Aquaman saved them."
"The ongoing investigation into this incident continues; here's the field reporter with updates!"
"The monster was killed? That's great, boss!" Jack exclaimed animatedly to Arthur, who ignored him and remained absorbed in his bowl of Yangchun noodles.
Arthur had used this battle to confirm the level of his strength. Although it was just a small test of his abilities, he was satisfied to know he possessed a certain degree of self-protection.
Day by day, Manhattan gradually returned to normal. People went about their lives as usual, as if the incident had never happened.
The Atlantis restaurant by the sea continued its own business, with a constant stream of customers even at night.
"Boss, there's a gentleman looking for you..." Isa said to Arthur, pointing to two men outside the room.
Arthur glanced at them. "Thank you Isa, and pour me three cups of black tea." Instructed Arthur before walked towards the men outside the door.
"Hello, I'm Jon Arthur, the owner of this establishment. How can I help you?" Arthur said to the bald man in the leather coat in front of him.
"Good afternoon Mr. Arthur, we'd like to discuss something with you." The bald man extended his hand and shook Arthur's.
"I see. Well then, please have a seat." Arthur led the two men to a corner table on the beach patio.
After the three were seated, Isa brought three cups of black tea. "Gentlemen, please enjoy."
"Thanks.""
"Thank you."
Arthur wasn't surprised by the arrival of the two men, in fact he wondered how long it would take for them to show up. He knew who they were the moment Isa brought them to his attention: the renowned Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division or S.H.I.E.L.D's Director Nick Fury and his right hand man Agent Phil Coulson.
When Arthur took action that day, he knew that S.H.I.E.L.D would take notice of him. As an Earthling, Arthur had no issues with S.H.I.E.L.D as he had planned to join the Avengers in the future.
"Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Jon Arthur. May I ask is it you have to discuss with me?" Arthur asked calmly as he sipped his tea.
"I am Agent Fury and this is Agent Coulson. We work for the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division. This is my ID." Nick Fury pulled out an ID with a familiar logo and showed it to Arthur.
"Could you tell me again what security agency you belong to?" Arthur replied.
"...We are from the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division," Nick Fury said helplessly.
"The name of your unit is quite hard to remember. I suggest you change it."
"We'll consider it. We came to talk to you because of this." He pushed a tablet towards Arthur showing him punching Abomination in the face. "This is you isn't it? The Aquaman?" Nick Fury looked at Arthur and asked seriously.
"You've got to be joking ," Arthur laughed. "Look, stop messing with me, Agents, if that's who you really are and tell me what you want?"
"Don't be so quick to deny it. We have further proof. Just take a look at these photos." Fury took the tablet from Coulson and placed it in front of Arthur, displaying a series of pictures, each from different angles.
The photos showed him fighting the Abomination, and other pictures of the Hulk and him strangling the Abomination with chains. Although the photos were slightly blurry, Arthur could still make out his face clearly as he was still recognizable.
