Synopsis
In a world where superheroes and villains shape history, one forgotten soul is given a second chance—armed with nothing but a mysterious system, sheer determination, and the cruel memories of a life lost. Jason Miller was an ordinary college student, poor and invisible to the world. That is, until his untimely death led him to awaken in the Marvel Universe… with a System that allows him to draw from any fictional world—skills, weapons, and even the identities of legendary characters. Bound by the rules of survival and a growing hunger for power, Jason becomes Red Hood—a deadly assassin in the criminal underworld who follows his own brutal code: complete the mission, never break a contract, and never betray those who truly deserve protection. As whispers of his name spread through the shadows, Jason is forced to navigate a treacherous path between heroes, villains, and the ghosts of his past. When fate leads him to cross paths with Tony Stark, a new game begins—one where every choice will define whether Jason remains a hunter… or becomes the hunted

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

My body felt weightless. No cold. Nothing. Until suddenly, I woke up.

I shot upright, gasping for air. My body was lying on a thin mattress in a small, damp-smelling room. The reflection in the cracked window showed a young man with messy black hair."I... was still alive?

Or… had I been reincarnated?"

Right in front of my eyes, a transparent blue window slowly appeared, floating in the air like some hologram.

I blinked, staring at the screen in silence. No guidance. Just text—like a game interface.

"Marvel Universe…?" I muttered under my breath. A faint memory surfaced—some movie I half-watched once. A man named Tony Stark, Iron Man suits, the Avengers…"

My heart pounded. This world… wasn't the world I knew.

I wasn't even a fan of Marvel. I had only ever watched Iron Man 1 and barely remembered much of it. I knew almost nothing about this place—just enough to realize how slim my chances of survival were.

In the middle of my panic, my eyes drifted back to the glowing blue screen.

I hesitated. But this was the only chance I had to survive in a world like this. Swallowing my fear, I reached out and tapped the screen.

My pocket suddenly buzzed. Startled, I reached into the old jeans I was wearing and pulled out a battered, outdated smartphone with cracks along the edges.

I powered it on.

Bank Balance: $1,012.37

W-What?!

I took a deep breath."If this were real, I needed to play it smart. This wasn't just luck—it was my shot at survival."

I fixed my eyes on the Gacha buttons.

"Let's see… what kind of world is waiting for me?"

My hand touched the Free Template Gacha button. The blue screen spun like a digital roulette wheel, flashing the silhouettes of characters—some I vaguely recognized—heroes, villains, monsters, humans.

And then—DING!

Suddenly, heat exploded inside my body. A sharp pain pierced through my bones. I collapsed, my body convulsing as if I were being burned alive from the inside.

My muscles tightened. Bones cracked—then fused. Nerves, reflexes, perception… all of it sharpened in an instant.

When the agony finally faded, I lay on the floor, gasping for air. I could feel it—raw power in my veins. Not superhuman strength… but something sharper.

Agility. Speed. Endurance. Combat mastery. The instincts of a professional killer.

Random flashes of knowledge flooded my mind, like memories I had never experienced.

I turned my eyes back to the cold, glowing text still hanging in the air:

"Yeah… I guess this system won't let me be too overpowered from the start," I muttered with a dry chuckle, though I couldn't hide the slight disappointment in my voice.

Slowly, I got to my feet and glanced at the mirror. My body had changed—taller, leaner, more muscular… sharper in every way.

"Uhhh… this system kinda ruins the whole 'work hard, earn your power' idea," I joked to myself, striking an awkward pose I vaguely remembered from some TV show.

My eyes shifted to the Free Skill Gacha button."Skill? What is this, like... Fireball or something?" I muttered.

My fingers tapped the screen.Once again, the digital wheel spun rapidly, then stopped.

[Congratulations! You Have Obtained Skill: Bullet Time]

A sharp throb pulsed through my head.Suddenly, it was as if the entire world slowed down. The sound of dripping water… the hum of electricity… everything unraveled in slow motion.

But inside me—inside my mind—I was moving fast.Calculations, reactions, strategies… everything felt easier, sharper, faster.

I held my breath.This wasn't some kind of superpower.This was science—made real.

Everything moved slowly: droplets of water suspended in the air, a bird lazily spreading its wings mid-flight.I was completely immersed in the moment.

And then—Just as suddenly, everything snapped back to normal.

I blinked, glancing around. The effect was gone.I could feel it—Bullet Time had run out

My eyes shifted to the final button:Free Item Gacha.

"What else am I gonna get this time…?" I muttered.

My fingers pressed the glowing blue screen. The digital wheel spun—images of weapons, artifacts, and strange objects flashing by in rapid succession—until it stopped.

[Congratulations! You Have Obtained Item: Silverballer (Hitman Series)]

A pair of custom Silverballer pistols, equipped with silencers.

High precision, perfect accuracy, deadly firepower.

5 magazines (total: 85 rounds of 9mm ammo).

Stored in Spatial Inventory (3/10 Slots Used).

A soft blue light glowed, and suddenly—right in front of me—two gleaming silver pistols materialized out of thin air.

I carefully picked them up.The weight was perfect in my hands. The surface was smooth, the grips sturdy.

I knew these guns.Silverballer.Agent 47's signature weapons from the Hitman games.

I checked the magazines—fully loaded.Five mags. More than enough… for now.

The blue screen flickered one more time, displaying my current status:

[Template: Red Hood (1/2 Slots)][Skill: Bullet Time (1/5 Slots)][Item: Silverballer (3/10 Spatial Inventory Slots Used)][Money: $1,000]

I clenched my fist.I knew my life would never be the same after this. But unfortunately, this world—this cruel game—wasn't going to give me time to get ready. The clock was already ticking.

If there was ever a right time to move, this was it.I needed a plan. But first—I needed money. I needed to survive.

I took a deep breath, my eyes drifting to the window.

This… this was me now.Jason Miller.I would throw away the name Jason Callahan—the person I used to be—and accept the identity I had now.

In the distance, the faint sound of a TV news broadcast echoed through the streets:

"…Tony Stark, CEO of Stark Industries, is set to depart for Afghanistan in two weeks…"

My eyes sharpened."For now… I need to get ready."
