5000 years ago when magic revolved around the world, the Celestial Kingdom was becoming more and more developed, magic energy runs through the society.
Kanika, the princess of the Celestial Kingdom holds great power of the flame. Soon, it will be her turn to ascend the throne along with a man that suits her well beside her... well, thats what they thought.
On Kanika's 17th birthday, the day where she would meet her fiancé, she ran away with another man, Damian. Someone who does not hold any of the royal blood line. Magic doesn't even exist in his body. But Kanika has been blinded by Damian's kindness, no longer worrying about anything else that can possibly have an impact on her bright future.
At first her life was colourful, Dante treated her as if she was his own. Preparing delicious food, bringing her mountains of presents, giving the warmth she desired. Kanika was certain he was the person that she could be with for eternity, even if she has to pay the price for losing her family, her kingdom, her throne. She's willing to sacrifice everything as long she can be with him.
But soon Dante became cold, sharp blades hid behind his words, even the food she ate became like daggers, piercing her throat, scrapping her stomach. Damian will also come home late, not bothered to acknowledge her existence. Each one of his movement carved a deep scar inside her heart.
One night, the star shined bright, the air was cool. Damian, as usual, came home late. He coughed then smiled. "Kanika, my love, it's almost your 18th birthday, I was thinking if we should go out for dinner..." he paused before continuing. "Im bringing a friend that will celebrate your birthday with you. Pfft, she's always been quite a fan of you when I brought you up during our conversation." Kanika's eyes sparkled with happiness. Finally! once again, he acknowledged me.....oh, how much I missed this feeling. He even brought me up to his friends during their conversation. "Of course!" she replied happily, rushing forward hugging him tightly.
The day she looked forward to the most finally came by, Kanika's 18th birthday. She was overjoyed, but when she woke up Damian wasn't beside her, instead a graceful golden laced present was placed carefully beside her, the white box glimmered under the sunshine. Carefully she removed the lid. Inside was a splendid dress. Crimson red with delicate roses carefully sewn, with a light touch of golden glitter and shimmering diamond. Under the dress was a letter which said:
My love, Happy 18th Birthday. This is my gift for you and I wish for you to wear it at the dinner. Unfortunately I'm very busy today so you will have to arrive at the restaurant yourself. The place is close, its the place I brought you the first time we met. Hope you have a great day.

Kanika hugged the crimson dress tightly in her arms, feeling the soft fabric brushing her skin. Although she was disappointed to not have Damian personally bring her to the restaurant. But she was still very pleased to be able to receive such a beautiful present from him, and the thought that he arranged such a beautiful place for her on such a special occasion, made her feel loved. Night came by fast, Kanika wore her splendid dress stepping out of the small cottage she and Damian lived in. The moon light reflected on the diamond sewn on her dress, she glimmered in the night sky like the brightest star in the universe. But everything was ruined when she arrived at the restaurant, it was....closed.
Suddenly the back of her waist felt cold, a sharp feeling pierced her body as pain ran through her blood like spikes piercing her blood vessel. Quickly looking down, a sharp silver blade pierced through her body, blood trickled down the end of the blade, she could hear the tiny droplets splashing onto the cold floor. Slowly turning around, she saw a girl, her purple eye glimmered under the moonlight, her silver hair flowing with the wind, so silky like the milkyway. As Kanika's eyes met her's, a smile spread across her lip. Kanika gasped, pain immediately rushed to her throat making her choke. She wanted to scream out for help, she begged to see Damian. Tears swelled up inside her eyes as they trickled down her cheeks, the pain was suffocating.
She heard footsteps, the sound was crisp and familiar. Suddenly Damian appeared before her eyes, she was relieved she wished to call out his name, but before she could, his strong hands caught her throat, clutching it tightly. Kanika was confused, most of all, pained. She doesn't understand why would Damian take such a cruel movement. As Damian lowered his head, he whispered in her ears. "Finally the day has come, thanks to you Kanika, I wasn't bored for a year, it was fun running with you, away from the palace, but now, since Cecilia is back, I don't need you anymore."
Cecilia? What a familiar name.....? The silver blade suddenly shot out, not leaving a second for her to think, leaving her falling onto the cold stone floor. The blood that was oozing from her body, matched her dress perfectly... perhaps, thats why Damian chose this colour for her dress?
Her vision became murky, slowly darkening, she used her last strength to take a look at Damian only finding him hugging the girl next to him, Cecilia. Both of them had a smile on their face, a smile that couldn't feel anymore painful to her. Cecilia's amethyst eyes gleamed as she stared down at her like mere trash, she spoke in an arrogant tone, "The name is Cecilia, remember me, always." Thats when it all went dark.
Ah, Ceclia.....I remember now, the daughter of the king from the underworld. Yes, I shall remember your name forever. *sigh* Only if I haven't trusted Damian, I would be living a great life. Please.....If god will allow me to have one more life, I promise I would make them pay the price, suffering deeply for eternity.
