Jungkook stayed up all-night, thinking about his SWORN ENEMY, his Rival. Grabbing the basketball, he lied on the couch in his room and looked through the window. It was full moon, so he turned off the light and let the moonlight enter the room.
"You're really something, Jeon Jungkook!"
Said Jungkook looking at his basketball.
"What are you even thinking, huh? I can't believe you cried for your lifelong enemy. Instead of feeling happy, you felt like hell and comforted him, you even hugged him. Are you out of your mind? His tears.... you couldn't bear that. But why?
JK threw away the ball to the ground.
"Think, Jungkook, think! Something changed. Yes, definitely changed. Or else there is no way you would find it cute when he was sleeping in your arm pouting his lips."
He got up from the couch and grabbed the bunny plushie.
"Ya! Jeon Jungkook! What happened to you? He was cheated and abandoned. You should be happy, isn't it? Why making this long face? Why the hell you wanna punch that bastard who broke him like that? You should thank him instead, don't you think so?
Is it because you're tired? Yes!!! You must be exhausted from hard trainings abroad. That's why you lost your mind, idiot! Now stop thinking about it and do it what should be done.
He jumped off the couch, did staffs following his night routine and went to bed.
NEXT MORNING
"Wake up, Jungkookah!"
Hearing the voice, Jungkook immediately opened his eyes.
JK: (shocked) T- Taehyung? W- what are you doing here in my room?
Tae smiled mischievously and leaned closer to Jungkook.
Tae: What do you think I'm doing, Kookie?
JK: (wide eyes) K- Kookie?
Tae wrapped his hands around Jungkook's shoulder and peaked on his nose.
Tae: Why are you stuttering, baby?
Before Jungkook could utter the next second, Tae put his finger on his lips and whispered, "Just admit that you like me."
Jungkook pushed him away hurriedly.
JK: What the hell are you playing in this morning, Taehyung?
Tae: (smiled) Don't be shy. The way you cried last night proved it all. You fall for me, My Dear Rival!
He suddenly pushed JK on the headboard and smashed their lips. JK grasped and grabbed the bed sheet for a few seconds as he couldn't process what was happening and why he couldn't resist Tae at all.
But soon he threw away the stupid questions and started kissing back. His hands sneaked around Tae's waist and Tae ran his fingers throughout JK's hair. Soon Tae's mouth was open and their tongues fought for the dominance. As Tae started submitting, JK bit his lips gently that made him flinched and moan.
"Jungkookah! Ya! Jeon Jungkook! Ya!!! Wake up!!"
Jungkook got up and looked around. Jimin was standing there, ready to leave for university. JK's eyes got wide realizing the fact. He poked out his cheek with a embarrassed smile.
JK: F*ck! It was a dream!
Jm: Dream? Which dream? Oh, hurry up, lazy bunny! You're gonna be late. Only 40 minutes left for the warm up call.
JK: What?? It's 9 am already?
Jm: Now it's 5 passed 9. Hurry up. I will wait for you downstairs. Mom already packed our breakfast. We can have it on the way.
Jimin left the room and Jungkook rushed to the washroom. He stood in front of the basin mirror and threw a splash of water on his face. Looking at the mirror he realized he was looking tipsy, as if he had the strongest liquor just now.
JK' POV: How can you dream of something like that, Jungkookah! That's crazy. Aish!!
He pulled his hair in frustration.
"Is it because I didn't date for a long time? That's why my brain is playing tricks on you." Wait, wait! I never really dated anyone. Yes, Kookie! You can't trust your brain. You never dated anyone. How would you know the feeling of liking someone? It's all illusion created by your tired brain, just a way to produce some hormones."
AT KIM MANSION
Tae woke up with a painful headache. After the morning routine, he got ready and came down for breakfast. Tae's parents passed out when he was 3 years old. He and his elder brother was brought up in an orphanage. When Tae was 12, he was adapted by a rich businessman.
But he has always been in contact with his elder brother. After coming out, his adaptive father kicked him out of the house. Since then, he had been staying with his elder brother Kim Namjoon aka RM and his husband Kim Seokjin, for quite a long time, who accepted him warmly.
Jin: Good morning, bear!
Tae: Good morning, Hyung!
Said Tae taking his seat in dining room.
Jin: I made you hangover soup. Here, have it.
Tae: (frowned) Hangover soup? Did I drink last night?
RM: You were drunk as hell, bear! Thanks to your friend who dropped you home. Or else God knows where you could have been lying at this moment.
Jin: Yah, right! What if Jimin didn't follow you last night? Why did you drink in a bar, bear? You could just ask me for the best liquor and drink it at home. Joonie could accompany you too.
Tae: Um... sorry hyung, I don't know how I ended up there.
Jin: It's alright, just be careful next time, OK?
Tae nodded. After having the breakfast, Namjoon dropped Tae in front of sports faculty building, where Jimin was already waiting for him with coffee in right and strawberry milkshake in left hand. Tae smiled a bit and hugged Jimin.
Tae: Thank you so much for the milkshake, Chimmy!
Jm: No use of that puppy eyes, huh! Don't you think you owe me an explanation?
Tae: Um.... sorry, babe! Actually yesterday.....
Jm: I'm really mad at you, Bear! How could you dump me and drink with that brat?
Tae: Huh? What do you mean?(clueless)
Jm: What? Now don't you dare to lie that he wasn't with you.
Tae: Wait a minute, who are you talking about?
Jm: Who else? Jungkookah!
Tae's eyes got wide hearing the name. Jimin was about to say something, but Jungkook came and jumped over his shoulder.
JK: Marvelous, shorty! You left me home alone for this cry baby?
Jm: Ya, I'm 2 years older then you!
JK: So what? Academically, we're classmates anyway. (looking at Tae) Let's go, crybaby! Couch is calling you.
Before Tae could say anything, JK held his hand and dragged him to the gymnasium.
Tae's POV: This brat was with me last night? Wait, why did he call me crybaby? Did I tell him anything in daze? Oh, God! He must be laughing at me. That's none of my concern though. I don't have anything to do with anyone, anymore at least. Attachment? That's the word I hate most.
JK: Stop zoning out, V!
Tae: Don't call me that.
[Yan: Well, I forgot to mention. V is a tease name given by JK that refers to VENOMOUS :D]
JK: Wah, you still remember how to talk back? Yesterday I thought you went dumb.
Tae didn't say anything. He stood in the line as the couch blew the flute. He called out Jungkook and introduced him as the best player of Florida Gators Basketball Team. Tae could hear girls whispering about him.
"How handsome! Look at his bunny smile.. As if the angel flew down to earth."
Tae's POV: This one thing will never change. His charm to those stupid girls. Jungkook could be anything, but Angel? Oh, come on girls, you can't be serious! He looks more like a devil hidden under the mask. (smiled) I just hope that MF doesn't come with his girlfriend today. (signed)
Jungkook came back and stood beside Tae. As the Captain entered, girls started screaming.
JK: Why the hell they're screaming? Look at the girl he just hugged, must be his girlfriend. Today's girls are really shameless. How can someone drool over someone else's property.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung and got shocked. He was literally trembling.
JK's POV: What happened to him again? His eyes... Oh, God! He's not gonna cry again, right? But why is he crying? (looking at the direction Tae was starting) Don't tell me this captain is his so called Ex who came back.
As Tae was about to lose balance, Jungkook grabbed his hand and stormed out.
He took Tae to the academic floor who broke in tears as soon as they entered into the washroom. This time, Jungkook was sure, it's captain Goff who made Tae like this. Tae fell on his knees and Jungkook followed him.
JK: Tae, look at me, Tae! Calm down, please!
Tae: J- Jungkookah! I- I-
JK pulled him in his arms and hugged him tight.
Tae: H- He- his g- girlfriend-
JK: You don't have to say anything, I know it all. Don't cry please, I'm begging you. Calm down, Tae! I took you away, right? You don't have to face them now. Don't shed your tears for a worthless piece of shit, OK?
Tae: C- Can you please s- stay here with me?
