I'd never seen Imogen this flustered. Her usual composure completely shattered as Tyler Fitzgerald strode confidently into the restaurant, his presence commanding immediate attention.
"I apologize for the intrusion," he said, nodding politely to everyone before addressing me directly. "Ms. Johnson, I wanted to personally thank you for recommending my company for the Ricardo Group's downtown project."
Imogen's mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. Hazel looked equally stunned.
"Tyler Fitzgerald?" Professor Wright's eyebrows shot up in recognition. "The founder of Fitzgerald Developments?"
Tyler smiled modestly. "The very same."
