I stared at my phone screen, a small smile playing on my lips as I read Josh's message for the third time. He'd done exactly as he promised—the video was live now, exposing everything.
The footage was shaky but clear. Imogen stood in what looked like an empty office, Dylan beside her with his arm around her waist.
"We need to be careful," Imogen was saying. "If anyone finds out what we did..."
Dylan squeezed her closer. "No one will. The evidence is gone."
Then came the moment Josh was caught. The camera jerked as they spotted him. Imogen's face transformed from worried to furious in an instant.
"What are you doing here?" she shrieked, lunging forward.
Josh's voice came from behind the camera. "I was working late. I didn't mean to—"
"Delete it," Dylan demanded. "Delete whatever you recorded, now."
The camera showed Josh's trembling hands pretending to erase the footage while Dylan watched over his shoulder. What they didn't see was him saving a copy first.
