Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: Duola A Tian

Regarding Naruto's state, Natsuki expressed his helplessness.

His family doesn't run a charity. He used to give out cards for promotion, but now there's no reason to give them out.

Moreover, Natsuki actually suspected that Naruto's card addiction hadn't passed yet. Giving him new cards would be harming him, so it's better to pretend not to see and let Naruto be depressed on his own.

Soon, school was over.

Natsuki and Shino arrived at the Ninja Tools shop, but unexpectedly, the Ninjutsu Shop Owner, his Father-in-law, informed them that Tenten had gone out of the village on a mission.

"I actually guessed it right. Thankfully, I prepared in advance so Tenten wouldn't be flustered. Tenten should be able to be more convenient outside."

And just as Natsuki expected, not long after Team Guy set out, it started to rain on the road.

There was a time limit for the mission, so they couldn't delay on the road just because of a little rain, but moving forward in the rain wasn't ideal either.

Duola A Tian immediately took out four raincoats and distributed them. The impact of the rain was immediately minimized. Although the rain still lashed at them, as long as their bodies weren't soaked, they wouldn't feel uncomfortable, and there was no risk of catching a cold.

Fortunately, by evening, Team Guy was not far from their destination.

Duola A Tian then took out ginger tea, one cup for each person, and ate it with meat buns. Immediately, their fatigue dissipated.

Kai couldn't help but give a thumbs-up: "Sure enough, Summoning Technique is convenient. It's really convenient to go on missions with Tenten."

Lee, who had already put on his green jumpsuit as Kappa No. 2, also agreed: "Indeed, it's really convenient to have Tenten here. I didn't expect to be able to drink hot ginger tea without even starting a fire, and there are delicious meat buns to eat. Going on a mission is like traveling."

Neji also had to give his approval.

Tenten's own strength was not weak, and now she was like a treasure chest, having whatever they needed. It was incredibly convenient to have such a person in the team.

Tenten had already set up four small tents and couldn't help but complain when she heard them: "Convenient what? Don't treat me like a tool. What's convenient is Space-Time Ninjutsu, not me. Also, the tents and raincoats were prepared by my boyfriend. You single people can only be envious."

Wait, how did the complaint escalate to a personal attack?

Can't you just take a joke nicely?

The four of them didn't start a fire, worried about alerting the enemy, and it was too dark at night to launch a surprise attack, so they went straight into the tents to rest and would see after dawn.

In the darkness, Kai asked in a low voice: "Tenten, I heard Natsuki fainted from pain before, what happened?"

Tenten thought for a moment and didn't dare to tell the truth. Although she felt Teacher Kai was trustworthy, she wasn't sure about Neji and Lee, especially Neji who had the Cage Bird Curse Mark. His own freedom wasn't guaranteed, let alone keeping a secret.

It was better not to talk about her boyfriend's BUG-like training dream.

"What else could it be? He overdid his training. I went back and gave him a good scolding, and he promised it wouldn't happen again. Teacher Kai, when you have time, you should also lecture him a bit. He's really reckless!"

"So that's what happened! Don't worry, Tenten, I'll go lecture him when I get back. Training needs to be done step by step, how can you be reckless?"

"..."

Tenten wanted to complain because she felt that Teacher Kai and Lee were also very reckless.

With Lee's masochistic training, he probably had a lot of hidden injuries. He might not feel it now that he was young, but it would definitely act up later. But that was Lee's business, and it was Lee fighting for his dream. Tenten had no right to interfere.

Her boyfriend was still the best.

Although he was indeed a bit reckless, at least he was only reckless in that special training dream. His life and body were absolutely safe.

Compared to that, Tenten suddenly felt much more relieved.

Early the next morning, Tenten handed out breakfast while packing up the tents. After the four of them finished eating, they continued on their way and soon arrived near a cave.

Neji immediately activated his Byakugan. After some investigation, his voice was serious: "There are twenty bandits, no Ninja, and their defenses are lax. However, there is a prison cell in the cave, holding many dead bodies, some of which are women and children."

Upon hearing this, the others' eyes darkened.

Tenten's tone was unfriendly: "Teacher Kai, should we kill these guys?"

Lee and Neji unconsciously looked at Tenten, feeling the killing intent in the girl's eyes. In fact, their killing intent was also considerable.

Kai was expressionless: "I actually don't like killing people, but some people deserve to die. If they should be killed, then kill them."

Actually, Kai was truly kind. Although he was already an Elite Jonin, he never killed people casually. That was his reverence for life. However, it didn't mean he was a bleeding heart. When he encountered vicious villains, he would also kill them.

However, he was ultimately too naive and kind, so he wasn't suitable for the Ambu.

When he was on missions with the Ambu team back then, the Ambu killed those who were defenseless, which was difficult for him to understand. However, that's how the Ambu were.

They would kill people who didn't seem to deserve to die, even if they weren't evil, they still had to be killed.

Therefore, Sarutobi Hiruzen didn't agree to him joining the Ambu, and even Danzo Shimura didn't want him, because he really wasn't suitable.

Of course, when faced with major issues of right and wrong, Kai could still see clearly. He knew that these bandits would harm the nearby villagers, and had already harmed many. In that case, they should be killed, otherwise, how could they face those villagers, and how could they account for the innocent people who had died?

Therefore, Kai would not object to his students killing.

In addition, as Ninja, they should also see blood, otherwise, they couldn't grow.

"This is your training, so I will try not to intervene this time. You make your own arrangements." Kai stood aside with his arms crossed.

Tenten, Neji, and Lee were not surprised by this and began to discuss. Neji mainly explained the distribution of the bandits in detail, and then they assigned tasks to each other.

After the discussion, the three nodded to Kai and immediately took action.

Tenten took out a scroll, summoned a long rifle, and even installed a silencer. She aimed at a bandit guarding the cave entrance.

The next second, she pulled the trigger. With a soft 'plop', the bandit fell to the ground. There was almost no sound, and even the bandits inside the cave couldn't hear anything.

Neji and Lee immediately rushed towards the cave, kicked the bandit's body aside, and then rushed directly into the cave.

Tenten put away the long rifle and took out a pair of short pistols. She quickly went to the cave entrance and waited.

Screams soon echoed from inside the cave. Neji and Lee struck without mercy. Even the kind Lee mercilessly used a Kunai to cut the bandit's throat, while Neji used Gentle Fist to break the bandit's limbs, which was even more brutal than killing them directly.

Some bandits desperately fled to the cave entrance, where they were greeted by Tenten's special peanuts.

Before long, the bandits were completely wiped out.

The bodies from the prison cell were carried out by Tenten and the other two. Kai went to the nearby village to call the villagers to identify and claim the bodies.

Although it was cruel, it had to be done.

The four of them looked at the villagers crying hysterically while holding the bodies of their loved ones, and they all had expressions of unbearable pain. They could only turn their heads away and not look.
