Wake up, my hero...
BANG! The sound of a gunshot rang in my ears. The sound was loud enough for me to wake up. My eyes sprang open.
As my vision began to clear, I noticed something strange. I had no clue who's room I was in.
"Where the hell am I?"
I had been sitting in a wooden chair, which was uncomfortable, which is kinda weird because I can not sleep in a sitting position. From the looks of the room, it seemed very old timey. Like what you would see in a steampunk or a western movie. The room seemed rather small. Probably 7 feet in length and 10 feet in width, smaller than my apartment. The room was painted brown with tall wood baseboards that reached up to my thigh.
There were no windows, the source of light was from a candle, which was resting on top of a stack of books.
The room was quite empty. The room contained a small bed, which had sheets either missing of on the floor, a desk, which was covered in books and a cup of water, a door, and a singular mirror.
I walked towards the mirror, only to find a man staring back at me. But strangely enough, the man in the mirror was not me, he looked nothing like me. The man had long, messy white hair, which fell down to his shoulders. He had bright yellow eyes, he also wore some peculiar clothing. He wore a black cloak over a white suit. I slowly raised my hand and began to mess with my hair. The man in the mirror was me.
But how could that be? I look nothing like that. I had black hair, and I do not wear suits. I began to stroke my chin. I had only heard about this type of plot in anime and manga. I never could have guessed that this would happen to me, I had been reincarnated in a different world.
