Chapter 2 - UNKNOWN LAND

Yato's eyes slowly opened, and he was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. He blinked a few times, trying to clear the haze from his mind. As he sat up, he noticed a blue screen hovering in front of him.

*SYSTEM WELCOME HOST*

*WORLD: NARUTO*

*STAT*

*STRENGTH: CIVILIAN*

*SPEED: CIVILIAN*

*ENDURANCE: CIVILIAN*

*CHAKRA: ELITE CHUNIN*

*END OF SYSTEM*

*NO FURTHER ABILITIES*

Yato's eyes widened as he stared at the screen. What was this? Some kind of game? He looked around the room, trying to take in his surroundings. He was in a small, simple house. The walls were made of wood, and the furniture was sparse. A small table sat in the corner, with a single chair beside it.

Yato's mind was a jumble of emotions as he tried to comprehend the situation. He looked down at his hands, and they seemed normal. He flexed his fingers, feeling a sense of relief that he could still move them.

But as he looked at the screen again, Yato's sense of relief turned to confusion. What did this mean? Was this some kind of simulation? He thought back to his life before... the car crash... and the pain... It couldn't be. This had to be some kind of dream.

Yato's denial was strong. He couldn't accept the reality of the situation. He thought to himself, "This is just a weird dream. I'll wake up soon, and everything will be back to normal."

As he sat there, frozen in denial, Yato's mind began to wander. He thought about his daughter, Yuri. He remembered the way she smiled, the way she laughed. He thought about his wife, and the life they had built together.

The memories came flooding back, and Yato felt a pang of sadness. He couldn't believe that he was gone. He couldn't believe that he was in a new world, with no way to get back.

As the minutes ticked by, Yato's denial slowly began to fade. He looked around the room again, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. He saw the wooden walls, the simple furniture, and the small window. It was all so... different.

Yato's eyes returned to the screen, and he felt a sense of desperation. He didn't want to accept this new reality. He wanted to go back to his old life. He wanted to see his family again.

But as he looked at the screen, Yato saw something that made his heart skip a beat. The words "WORLD: NARUTO" stared back at him, cold and unyielding.

Yato's mind reeled as he tried to process the information. Naruto? What was that? A place? A person? He had no idea.

As the silence stretched out, Yato's thoughts turned inward. He began to wonder what his life would be like in this new world. Would he be able to find a way back home? Or would he be stuck here forever?

The blue screen remained steady, a constant reminder of Yato's new reality. He took a deep breath, feeling a sense of trepidation. He didn't know what the future held, but he knew one thing - he would have to adapt.

Yato's eyes remained fixed on the screen, his mind racing with questions and doubts. He felt like he was losing himself in this new world. He felt like he was disappearing.

The pain and sadness welled up inside him, and Yato felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes. He didn't know how to process his emotions. He didn't know how to deal with the reality of his situation.

As the minutes ticked by, Yato's emotions continued to swirl. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of uncertainty. He didn't know what to do or where to go.

But as he sat there, frozen in uncertainty, Yato's thoughts turned to his daughter. He remembered the way she smiled, the way she laughed. He thought about the memories they had shared, and the pain of being separated from her.

Yato's eyes filled with tears as he realized that he would never see her again. He would never hold her in his arms or watch her grow up. The thought was almost too much to bear.

As the tears streamed down his face, Yato felt a sense of acceptance wash over him. He knew that he had to move forward. He knew that he had to find a way to survive in this new world.

The blue screen remained steady, a constant reminder of Yato's new reality. He took a deep breath, feeling a sense of determination rise within him. He would face whatever challenges came his way, and he would make the most of this new life.

But for now, Yato just sat there, surrounded by the silence

Yato was still sitting on the floor, lost in thought, when he heard a knock at the door. He looked up, wondering who it could be. He got up slowly and made his way to the door, opening it to find a woman standing there. She was dressed in a simple outfit, and her expression was cold and unyielding.

Without a word, she handed Yato an envelope and turned to leave. Yato watched her go, feeling a sense of confusion. He looked down at the envelope in his hand and saw that it was unmarked.

Yato closed the door and walked back to the table, sitting down to examine the envelope. He opened it and pulled out a letter, unfolding it to read the contents.

The letter was brief, but it contained some surprising information. According to the letter, Yato's parents had died in battle, and he was entitled to a sum of 15,000 ryo. Yato's eyes widened as he read the words. He had no memory of his parents, and the idea that they had died in battle was both shocking and confusing.

As he read on, Yato saw that the letter also mentioned that he would be receiving a package with some important documents. He looked into the envelope and saw two scrolls inside, written in a language he couldn't understand.

Yato's confusion deepened as he tried to make sense of the letter. He didn't know what to do or who to turn to. Just as he was starting to feel overwhelmed, he heard a voice in his head.

*SYSTEM UPDATING*

*LANGUAGE ADDED: JAPANESE*

*NEW MEMORY ADDED: NARUTO WORLD BASIC CONCEPT*

*THE NATURE OF CHAKRA*

*ACCEPT OR DECLINE*

Yato's eyes widened as he saw the red and blue options hovering over him. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then, he chose the accept button.

As soon as he did, a flood of memories came rushing into his mind. Yato felt like he was drowning in a sea of information. He saw images of the Naruto world, its history and its people. He learned about the concept of chakra and how it was used in the world.

The memories came too fast, and Yato's mind struggled to keep up. He felt like he was being pulled under, unable to breathe. And then, everything went black.

Yato's body slumped forward, his head hitting the table with a thud. He was unconscious, his mind reeling from the sheer amount of information that had been dumped into it.

As he lay there, the letter and the scrolls lay scattered around him, forgotten in the chaos of his mind. The system had given him a new set of memories, and Yato's world would never be the same again.
