1 Piece AU Luffy Charlotte

"Oh yeah…Luffy I've got someone who wants to speak to you." Shanks said after everything calmed down a little bit and he remembered something important. Pulling a Den Den Mushi out of his pocket he dialed a number and set it on the table in front of Luffy who looked at it curiously.
"Shanks I swear to god if you haven't found my brother yet I don't care if you're some big shot pirate I'm goin-"
"Ace-nii!" Luffy's eyes widened and his grin threatened to split his face in half as he stared at the snail, recognizing his big brothers voice.
"Luffy? Luffy! Are you okay Lu? Where are you? Are you safe? Are you eating enough?" The boy, Ace, asked rapid fire questions as the snails eyes widened.
"Stupid Ace! I can't answer if you don't stop talking!" Luffy said making the snail close it's mouth for a moment.
"Right. Sorry Lu. First question. Are you safe?" Ace asked and Luffy hummed affirmatively.
"Yep! There's lots of really strong and really nice people looking after me now!"
"Good. Good. Are you eating enough?"
"Yep! I'm eating lots so I can be big and strong and they even say I don't need to hunt but let me do it anyways!"
"Good. Hunting is good training…have you kept up with your training?"
"Yep! I'm training almost every day and they're even training me so I can be stronger! I might even be stronger than you by now Ace-nii!"
"Ha! I doubt that! I'm your big brother! That means I'm supposed to be stronger so I can protect you no matter what. Older brothers are born first so they can protect the little brothers." Some of the Charlottes snorted or grinned at that, glancing at Katakuri and Perospero. That sounded like something they would say.
"Oh yeah! We have a sister now! Me an' Pudding shared sake so we're twins now! Pudding! Say 'hi' to Ace-nii!" Luffy said looking at the girl in the seat next to him whose eyes widened but she beamed happily at being included.
"Hi!" Pudding said making the snail laugh.
"Just like you to adopt another sibling huh Lu? Hi Pudding! I'm your Ace-nii now!" Ace said without hesitation and the Charlotte siblings were surprised at how easily he accepted her as his little sister. After all he had only just heard about her and had never even seen her once.
"Are you going to be a pirate too Pudding?" Ace asked making Pudding nod her head happily with a smile on her face that was almost as wide as Luffy's.
"Yep! I'm gonna sail with Luffy! But Mama says I can't sail until I turn seventeen, so he gets to go first and has to come back for me." Pudding said and Ace merely hummed to accept that fact.
"You still coming back to Dawn Island to start your journey Luffy? Are you coming back before then?" Ace asked and Luffy turned to look up at his mamas and papas near there.
"I'm going back there to start my journey…but…I think I want to stay here and train. There's lots of really strong people I can learn from and they're really nice. You'd like them." Luffy said making Ace hum a bit.
"You worked your cute magic on them huh? Oi whoever is looking after my baby brother and new little sister listen up! I know my brother's adorable, and my sister probably is too, but if I find out that you made either of them cry or are trying to keep them against their wishes I don't care how big or strong or important you are! I'll kick your ass!" Ace shouted through the snail making Luffy laugh while Pudding looked shocked but blushed and Shanks snorted.
"Don't worry about that Ace-san. Mama already said that Luffy will be allowed to sail around and start his journey as he promised when he turns seventeen and when he comes back and Pudding turns seventeen she'll be allowed to join them." Brulee said smiling slightly at the boy's big words. She could understand him being protective of his brother and apparent new sister, so none of the Charlottes nearby were upset by his words. With the possible exception of Daifuku.
"Good. Luffy. Pudding."
"Yes Ace-nii?"
"Yes?"
"If try to stop you from being free…"
"Yes?"
"Give them hell."
"Way to sign off on the death of their sanity kid." Shanks said dryly but grinning widely. It would be amusing if they did set off Luffy, after all he knew the chaos and trouble that boy could cause.
"Shishishishi!"
"Hehehehe."
