# Noah's POV#
The morning sun streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows of my office at Ace Corporation, casting long shadows across the polished marble floor. I sit behind my desk, staring at the document Vincent left last night. The Lancaster family seal seems to mock me from the expensive paper.
My phone buzzes constantly. News alerts, concerned messages from board members, missed calls from investors. The financial world has noticed Harrison Industries' withdrawal, and speculation runs wild.
A soft knock interrupts my thoughts. "Come in."
Scarlett enters, her usually perfect composure slightly frayed around the edges. She carries a tablet loaded with news feeds and stock reports.
"The board is requesting an emergency meeting," she says, setting the tablet on my desk. "Stock futures are down eighteen percent in pre-market trading."
I nod, already knowing the numbers. "Schedule it for ten o'clock."
