POV: Bunny
She didn't sleep that night.
The ceiling fan spun like her thoughts — slow, noisy, and useless.
> Bunny (thinking): He didn't lie. But he never told the truth either.
The memories felt different now.
Every chat. Every laugh.
Every time he said "You'll know soon."
She had known him forever.
And still, didn't know him at all.
---
Next morning — kitchen
She walked in, tired and quiet. Aarav stood by the counter, pouring his usual black coffee.
> Aarav: "You want tea?"
Bunny (coldly): "No. I'm good."
He looked at her. Something was... off.
> Aarav: "You're not gonna fight with me today?"
Bunny: "You're not worth the effort today."
He raised an eyebrow. But didn't push.
---
Later that day — office
Bunny walked past people whispering again.
> "That's her."
"She lives with him?"
"Do you think she knew all along?"
The weight of it all hit her.
Aarav's secret wasn't just his.
Now, it was hers too.
---
POV: Bunny (thinking):
He let me fall for two people.
One who made me laugh every night.
And one who watched me pretend not to know him.
---
Evening — apartment balcony
Bunny stepped outside. Aarav followed her quietly, standing beside her in silence.
> Aarav: "Something you want to say?"
Bunny (flat): "When were you going to tell me?"
Aarav: "I don't know."
Bunny: "When I figured it out myself? When I finally asked the right question?"
Aarav: "I wanted to tell you a hundred times. But I was scared."
Bunny: "Of what?"
Aarav (softly): "That you'd stop looking at me the same way."
She turned away.
> Bunny: "Too late."
