Lynx and Broly stood face to face.
Their eyes locked—electric tension flickered between them like crackling lightning.
Broly's face twisted—his expression darkened. A subtle fury began to rise in his eyes.
"Who are you?" Broly growled through clenched teeth.
"The name's Lynx. I'm also a Saiyan," he answered calmly.
"Lynx…?"
The blood they shared—the Legendary Saiyan bloodline—was resonating between them.
Broly's unstable emotions, already prone to violent swings due to his bloodline, now flared with aggression. Sensing another with the same rare power, his instinct to dominate surged.
He was about to lose control.
"Broly!" Paragus rushed over, panicked. He activated a remote device in his hand.
A surge of energy burst from the control ring on Broly's forehead. A faint pulse shimmered—and Broly's rage calmed, his expression dulling once again.
He then silently followed after Vegeta.
As the spaceship lifted off, Trunks hurried over.
"Mr. Lynx! That guy… he felt really dangerous."
"Yeah," Gohan nodded. "There was something evil in his energy."
"You think Vegeta will be okay traveling with him?" Krillin asked, looking up at the departing ship.
"He'll be fine," Lynx said quietly.
Judging from what he'd seen, Broly only truly lost control around him or Kakarot—Goku.
It was always strange. How could someone hold onto so much hatred… all over a baby crying too much?
Lynx shook his head. He felt lucky that when the system had fused him with the Legendary Saiyan bloodline, it had stripped away its worst flaw.
He wasn't as monstrously powerful as a full-blooded Legendary Saiyan, but at least he wouldn't lose his mind like Broly.
After Vegeta's departure, Krillin suggested they explore the planet. Lynx went with them.
Despite the area around the palace looking grand, once they flew out further, the truth was stark: ruins and crumbling structures stretched out in every direction.
"What's up with this place?" Krillin frowned.
"Why build a Saiyan kingdom here of all places?" Gohan asked, confused.
"Maybe because Paragus never really intended to build one," Lynx replied.
"What?" Trunks's eyes widened.
"Over there!" Krillin suddenly pointed to a distant construction site.
"What is that?" Trunks narrowed his eyes.
"Looks like… a mine? No—an energy plant," Gohan guessed.
"They're extracting energy from underground and pumping it to the palace. No wonder only that part of the planet looks green and alive."
On the site, several short green aliens were working under guard—forced labor under Paragus's troops.
Lynx knew who they were.
The original inhabitants of Planet Shamo—abducted by Paragus to build his illusion of a Saiyan empire.
Everything on this world—the grand name, the palace—was nothing but a lie, meant to keep Vegeta around just long enough.
Lynx looked up toward the sky.
You couldn't see it yet, but out in space, a massive comet was hurtling toward New Planet Vegeta.
In less than two days, it would crash into the planet, killing everyone.
This… was Paragus's true plan.
He could've had Broly kill Vegeta outright—but deep down, he feared what would happen if Broly lost control.
Too bad for him… he overlooked one wildcard.
The son of Bardock—Kakarot.
And Goku's effect on Broly… would change everything.
As Rīku was reviewing the events in his mind, Gohan, watching the slaves below, finally had enough. He leapt in to free them.
The guards, with power levels only in the thousands, didn't stand a chance.
And at that moment, Goku appeared.
He'd used Instant Transmission to follow the massive energy he sensed—Broly's.
"Dad?" Gohan turned, surprised.
"Huh? Gohan? Krillin? What are you guys doing here?" Goku blinked. "Wait… is that another Saiyan?"
Goku glanced at Lynx, confused.
"That's Lynx, Dad! He's a Saiyan from another timeline," Gohan explained.
"What? Another timeline?" Goku asked.
After Gohan's quick summary, Goku smiled brightly.
"Nice to meet you, Lynx! You seem pretty strong. We should spar sometime!"
"Sure," Lynx replied with a slight smile.
Krillin sighed. "Sorry about Goku. The moment he meets someone strong, he has to fight them."
"It's fine," Lynx chuckled. "I enjoy a good challenge too. But Goku… are you here chasing the Legendary Super Saiyan?"
"Huh? How'd you know that?" Goku tilted his head.
"Because that's what we're here for too!" Gohan answered for him.
After hearing their story, Goku frowned.
"So you're saying… Paragus might be the one I sensed?"
But before anyone could respond, a voice rang out from nearby.
"So… you came after all, Kakarot."
Everyone turned.
Paragus had arrived, flanked by a group of guards. He'd apparently come to investigate the commotion at the work site.
He looked at Goku's familiar face and smiled.
"Yes… it's you. Come have dinner with us, Kakarot. You look exactly like your father, Bardock."
"Sounds good!" Goku replied cheerfully—never one to turn down food.
So, the group returned to the palace for a feast.
During dinner, Goku explained that the power he'd sensed wasn't from Paragus. Which only deepened everyone's confusion.
If Paragus wasn't the Legendary Super Saiyan, then… who was?
Right then, Vegeta returned from his search.
Everyone, full from dinner, went to greet him.
"Yo, Vegeta!" Goku waved.
"Kakarot? What, did you come all this way just so I could kill you?"
"Still the same as ever, huh? No, I'm here for the Legendary Super Saiyan."
"Too bad. Once he's found, I'll be the one to finish him off. Go home."
Vegeta brushed past, disappearing inside.
"Heh," Goku grinned. "Still trying to look cool."
But just then… he stopped.
Goku turned.
And saw Broly walking behind Vegeta.
Their eyes met.
Two fated enemies. Their paths crossed once more.
The meeting destined by blood, rage, and fate—had finally arrived.
