Today was Angelo and Alexander's birthday. Mahira woke up early. Adamsen had already made arrangements for the day. He bought Mahira a gorgeous silky banarasi saree and gold jewelry. Mahira let down her hair and Adamsen brushed her hair for her. He enjoyed brushing her hair all the time so it was nothing new to Mahira,she was used to it.
Adamsen," So hottie,may I come with you to meet your boy's. I'd like to see them and apologize for taking their mother away from them."
Mahira," of course you can. But first let's go get them gift's , it's been so long since I've gotten them something."
Adamsen was wearing a white shirt and some baggy pants matching Mahira's saree. They went shopping and bought a whole truck of gift's. The plan was just to buy a few things but with Adamsen insisting Mahira bought clothes, toy's and everything a baby boy would love. Adamsen was really good at choosing gifts. A little later they went to her mansion. She looked at it with a smile. As she stepped into the mansion every corner had memories. On the dinner table there were the people she loved but they all looked gloomy. No one talked to each other, they just ate their food as if today was not a day to celebrate. She walked in with a huge smile on her face.
Mahira," who died today? It's my son's birthday and you are all sulking here as if you forgot that today it's my son's birthday. Tell me who died?"
Angelo and Alexander in unison," Mom..."
Mahira frowned," aren't you excited to see your momma. Come give mommy a hug. Come on my angel's."
Angelo and Alexander ran and jumped into Mahira's arm's. Mahira hugged them so happily. Elena just stood there feeling embarrassed. She was scared of facing Mahira and ashamed of herself. Mahira looked at her.
Mahira," aren't you going to hug your fairy. Elena my angel... common my love."
Elena burst into tear's and hugged Mahira not letting go of her for a second.
Elena," Fairy... I thought you'd never want to see us again.. I thought we had lost you fairy... you are back... finally..."
Elena hugged her so tightly scared to let her go.
Mahira," your fairy will always be yours alone. She'll never abondon you. Even if I am lost in darkness I'll always come back to you sweetie.."
Angelo," mommy are you still angry with us? Do you still hate us?"
Mahira," mommy will never hate you okay... I'm sorry for hurting you in the past okay."
Alexander," I missed you mommy please don't ever leave again. We're sorry."
Mahira hugged all three of them and they soaked her saree with their tear's. Kaashvi also joined in the hug. Thane looked at Mahira and he wanted so bad to hug her and ask for forgiveness.
Adamsen," hey man.. aren't you going to try and win back the woman you love."
Everyone stopped and looked at Thane. He had so much regret and wanted so bad to have Mahira in her arm's. He wanted to apologize but didn't even know where to begin. He took a step forward.
Thane," Mahira..."
Mahira got scared and took a few steps back. Fear was written all over her face. You could see that she was scared. She looked down and unintentionally her body was trembling. Her teeth were drumming as if she was feeling cold.
THANE'S POV
Ouch! That really hurt. Was she scared of me? She was scared of me. Why did I allow myself to treat her so badly? I shouldn't have done that and I guess im paying for it. Kaashvi tried diverting the topic and offered to go out with Mahira, Elena and the boys. Adamsen stayed and looked at him.
Adamsen," since everyone's gone out, let's grab a drink at the bar."
I just listened to him. When we got to one of his top bar's we were led to the VIP cabin. I drank until I was unable to take it anymore.
Adamsen," How do you feel right now?"
Thane," like a loser. I actually hurt her. I fucked countless women in her presence and tortured her all because of a misunderstanding. I was supposed to protect her but I fucked up . I don't even know how to apologize and im so ashamed of myself. She was .,..."
Adamsen," you know what you did was sick. That woman is crazy in love with you. I tried my luck on her. I love her so much but despite treating her so well she only has her eyes on you. People like her are hard to find. They're rare and once you loose someone like her... I don't think you'll find someone who would love you like her. If I wanted I could've forced her to stay with me but enough is enough. She's been through so much and because I love her, I can't find it in me to make her sad. She's a woman, Thane she's a woman and women of nowadays don't take shit from us but she...she took all your shit. She tolerated your shit and everything. She's weak at heart,very weak. Adamsen," because of you. She loves you that's why I can't win her over. You are the only person she sees Thane. Unfortunately you don't realize the value of that."
Thane started crying," Adam did you see how scared she was of me. Did you see how she moved away when I tried to talk to her?"
Adamsen," you shouldn't cry. Honestly you are not supposed to cry. She's the one who deserves to cry because of you. Emotional blackmail, manipulation,abuse ,infedility... you did it all Thane and she indured. Right now even your presence scares her. She's scared of you, your touch because she thinks that any minute you can hurt her "
Thane," do you think I deserve her?"
Adamsen," of course not. You don't deserve her at all but I don't have a say in this."
Thane," how do you know her?"
Adamsen," I dated her once..she was thirteen and I was seventeen. She was something else. I loved her ever since then and I still love her but as I said she only sees you and no one else."
Thane," How do I win her back? You are close to her so how can I win her back."
Adamsen," I don't know. Figure it out yourself. If you can torture her then you can make amends. Im supposed to be celebrating with her but im here consoling you. I should be with her but im with you..."
Thane," so I should figure it out myself."
Adamsen," yep!"
We drank a few more shot's. I knew I had a lot to work on. Knowing Mahira she was hard to pacify but also easy to pacify. What am I even saying. I think the alcohol has gotten to my head. May god help me get the love of my life back.
