Chapter 1 - Do you want to live? Then SHINE!

「Kh…Kuku…kukukukukuku」

A joyful laugh echoed like a demonic symphony across the battlefield. The terror brought to the battlefield, that many lives were lost, it made no sense to have such euphoric laughter in its place.

「Subarashii~」

A man smiled with genuine joy in the midst of hell. Dissonant with the charred bodies, Flames that consumed everything, and remains of what had been a beautiful city. This man was the warmongering personification of immorality.

His black military attire and pale skin did not have a single spark of dust or blood scattered across the field, as if he were a mirage, a ghost of this dead place.

But divergent from logic, he exuded a clear absolute vitality. Like a being from another realm. His hands rested on the hilt of an immaculate katana, demonstrating that this man was a warrior.

Was this man responsible for such a tragedy?

The obvious answer would be "yes", but that would be taking the easy way out, and it wouldn't define a straight line, it would just be cutting across the path, and that wasn't how he worked.

「Let's see.」

「Heaven, Earth, Ying, Yang–Go!」

A series of symbols were then formed by his hands, as if writing Sanskrit symbols in the sky.

「Maybe…Ah! THIS」

With the careful closing of his fingertips together, the sky tore into pieces.

Lightning tore through the air, exploding the hellish environment into a sea of debris and energy, pulverizing any remnants of life that might be left.

What could someone like that be able to destroy a place for no reason?

「Ah… you finally decided to show up… Hero-Kun?」

His purple eyes turned full of joy to a figure in the distance from him.

She was covered in wounds and burns, but her posture was rigid and firm, even though the wounds on her body Should have made him feel like he was going to die, he still kept his head firm.

「...Amakasu…」

With blood on his cracked lips, the said hero grunted, his eyes shining emeralds, a strong determination overflowing from him.

「kukuku, Hahahaha, What joy! I knew you would survive, Issei-Kun! My great destined hero!」

The man, Amakasu, smiled as his grip on the sword tightened, He exuded a ferocity of a beast of Armageddon, any being before him would be reduced to dust by his mere presence. And this was his proposal, an Apocalypse, a RAGNAROK.

「Shut up.」 Issei grumbled, before raising his hands to the back of his neck–*CRACK*- the cracking sound was heard, the hero's eyes never deviated from his smiling enemy, he couldn't after he destroyed his home.

「Your voice is annoying, you old-fashioned old man. I'll make you shut up.」

Issei promised, he had no doubt in his observation, having already decided to end such a situation at this very moment.

「Ku, come on, Ise-kun, show me your bri–GUH!」

Before he could finish his motivational speech, a fist crossed his field of vision and hit him square in the face, silencing him and throwing the "villain" against the rubble behind him with a thunderous *BOOM*, sending debris flying and the rest of the ruins falling beneath him.

「I said, "Shut up". You old man.」

The fist that struck the man belonged to the youngest youth, who had crossed the battlefield at a speed exceeding common sense, hitting his target within hundredths of the power of an explosive weapon.

However—

Blood gushed from his fist, his flesh having been cut almost to the bone.

「Tsk…」

From the reaction time, he was cut at the same time as his attack, denoting his opponent's ability to counterattack almost instantly to a surprise attack.

「Hahaha, SUBARASHIII~」

With an explosive roar, the entire area where Amakasu had previously been was reduced to dust by an intense explosion, with the Warmonger at the center.

「LET'S SHOW ME YOUR COURAGE, MY DEAR HERO!」

As he raised his black blade to the sky, the sky was torn apart, the clouds and atmosphere screaming in agony at the unsheathing of the blade of judgement.

Faced with all this, Issei did not back down. In fact, he only sighed, for he, who had dealt with this man before, considered him nothing more than an old-fashioned idiot. But it was because he was an idiot, that he had no limits.

「Ugh… how annoying… Buchou won't let me die here…」

In the young man's mind, the faces of each of his friends shone. They, who trusted in his victory, in his prevalence, that's why he couldn't give up.

「Right now, I still have no doubts about facing Him, but… is it enough to be evenly matched?」

As he muttered, an attack was launched, a golden light of destruction, a slash of pure destruction. But even so—

「I SAID I WOULDN'T BACK DOWN!!!」

This was countered with intense determination. Sparks and the sound of steel echoed like a roar of thunder, cracking the earth with its force.

And so once again they engaged in combat. Their techniques were distinct and irregular, But the beauty of their courage was worthy of tears, a martial beauty Almost unworthy in such a place.

「Gah」

「Guoh!」

Pinky finger, Right ribs 1 and 4, Above the eyebrow, Right forearm, Left femur, Right ear, Jaw, Solar plexus, Trachea.

Several parts of their bodies were broken and cut by each other's blows, both had lost their protection from ■■■■ and were fighting with their bodies exposed, but that was no demerit at all, even gods would be pulverized by the supersonic wave of attacks that had the power of stars.

In the middle of their battle, blood gushes, bones break, and organs are crushed, and their soul is torn apart, but still...

"I will show you, true courage, Amakasu" Thought the hero, even in the face of his mortal weakness, he did not believe in his defeat, no, he would perform a miracle, he himself would create the impossible. "I... will show you true courage."

「Hahaha, show me, Issei, You Who are like us, yet at the same time, different from us. You Who conquered ■■■■ as proof of your strength.」 Raising his blade high, aiming for a devastating attack.

「Prove to me that your courage is worthy. For, we respect you as our equal.」

And at this moment, Facing the impossibility called [Amakasu Masahiko] he felt those who trusted him, at his back.

[Ise-kun]

[Hyoudou-san]

[My friend.]

[Ise-senpai.]

[Pervert-Ise]

[Fufufufu, my dear Ise.]

[Don't you dare lose, My rival.]

[Show your brilliance, Hyoudou-kun]

「DEFEAT THIS VILLAIN, OUR HERO!」.

Facing the hymn of confidence in his soul, Issei couldn't help but smile calmly. The voice of his distant friend in his mind.

『Ha, it seems we have a big problem, partner.』

「Tsk, you finally woke up, Ddraig, you lazy Dragon.」 Issei grumbled in disagreement, even though his body was horribly mutilated and his limbs twisted, he still stood with courage and unwavering determination.

『Hahah, well, I couldn't leave my Aibou like this, now that the seal has weakened, I'm no longer bound by ■■■, I can now use everything I have.』 The red dragon emperor's voice explained to its owner, soon exuding a crimson red aura from its entire body.

「Alright… let's decide everything here…」

His eyes sharpened towards his enemy, who smiled broadly at the determination.

"Oh, how wonderful You are, my dear hero, truly You are the one I have waited for so long, my dear rival. Come and eliminate evil, show me the eternal brightness of humanity." Amakasu's euphoric thoughts swirled in a whirlwind in his mind.

「Haha, this is going to be embarrassing but—」

The hero muttered, as both continued to stare into each other's eyes, and with a roar of euphoria, determined to end this fight, both let out their war roar.

「OPAAAAAAAAI!」

『BANZAAAAAAAAAAAAI!!!」

and their clash caused an explosion similar to a supernova, pulverizing the entire battlefield, And then—

◇◇◇◇

Heavy breathing. Cold sweat.

His eyes snapped open.

The white ceiling of his room seemed more distant than usual—as if the world around him was taking a while to reconnect with his mind. His body throbbed, even though nothing was hurt. The only thing left was emptiness... and a strange, heavy feeling in his chest.

He tried to pull something from the dream he had had... but everything was hazy. Fragments of images, red sparks, a hysterical laugh in the distance, a muffled name

"Amakasu"...?

….

"Tch... what a bizarre dream."

He ran his hand over his face, trying to wipe away the cold sweat. His fingers were shaking a little, but he pretended not to notice.

Morning was announced with the faint chirping of birds outside and the soft aroma of freshly cooked rice in the air.

"Ise-kun, breakfast is almost ready! Get up quickly!"—came the cheerful and familiar voice of his mother, echoing through the house.

That voice pulled him back to reality, and he stood up slowly, feeling the wood creak beneath his feet. As he passed in front of the mirror, he quickly looked at himself: messy brown hair, slightly sunken eyes, and a bored expression. No trace of the warrior he had glimpsed in his dream.

Just an ordinary boy... maybe even too ordinary.

He lazily put on his uniform. Even without remembering the dream, he still felt uncomfortable.

#

In the kitchen, the warm figure of Eriko Hyoudou, his mother, smiled as she arranged the dishes on the table. Her short dark brown hair swayed slightly as she hummed something, wearing a flowery apron and her traditional red-framed glasses.

"Did you sleep well? I called you about three times, it seemed like I was having a good dream."

Issei blinked, frozen for a second by the coincidence of the words.

"Yeah... I... dreamed a lot, I guess."

"Oh? It was with some little girl from school, wasn't it?" she laughed softly, with that naive and provocative way.

"N-no! I mean... I don't remember! It wasn't that!" she replied blushing, turning her face away with the bread still in her mouth.

The truth is... that perverted streak still lived inside him, even if much more hidden. He was no longer the idiot who shouted "Oppai!" in the middle of the street, having buried those instincts under layers of his being.

Quickly discarding it, he sat down and began to eat in silence, while his mother sat in front of him.

"Daddy called yesterday."

The sound of cutlery stopped.

Issei stopped, his eyes fixed on the rice.

"He said he's going abroad again… An important project, he won't be able to come to your birthday next month."

"Hmph. What a surprise."

That was all he said, sharply. He continued eating as if nothing had happened, but his face hardened for a moment.

Eriko sighed sadly, but soon forced a smile.

"I… I can try to make that strawberry cake you liked, remember?"

"You'll mess up the frosting again."

"Yeah… but now I know how to use the oven properly! I think..."

They laughed, half awkwardly, half resigned.

◇◇◇

Later, on the walk to his new school, Issei walked with his hands in his pockets and his headphones hanging around his neck, observing his classmates from a distance. He passed the same buildings, the same voices, the same routines… and everything seemed too calm, almost artificial.

In the end, nothing interesting would come to someone like Issei Hyoudou…

How naive he was.

#

Kuoh Academy, a renowned school in the city of Kuoh, Little is known about the formation and creation of Kuoh Academy—as it seemed to have always existed within the city—other than the fact that it was originally a private school for girls only. However, the Academy has now become a co-ed school and a new building has been constructed, although there are still more girls than boys studying at the school.

Kuoh Academy has several divisions, such as the elementary division, the high school division, and the college division, each with their own curriculum and club divisions.

But Issei didn't really care about that, he only came to study there because it was the closest to home, he wasn't coming to make a harem like the legendary Perverted Duo exclaimed. Although, he could see himself being friends with them if his life was less... Troublesome.

"Ise-Kun~" a high-pitched and irritating voice teased Issei, who had his head lying on his desk.

"Tch... what do you want, Kiryuu?"

Raising his tired face, he could see the smug face of his enemy.

Aika Kiryuu was an infamous girl in his class, almost as infamous as the Perverted Duo, mainly because of her... quirks.

"I see that your masculinity is still worthy of a man, mister hyoudou!"

The brat said, bending down to look under the table, which earned him a roar of frustration from Hyoudou.

"STOP HARASSING ME, KIRYUUUU!"

But before he could get his hands on it, Dita disappeared with a smokescreen, something that no one knew how she smuggled into the academy.

"W-what? HOW—ah, never mind. TCh."

Seeing that she had run away again, he resigned himself to just getting up and leaving, after all, it was already lunch time.

#

The midday heat seeped through the walls of the school like an invisible veil. Issei walked lazily through the corridors of Kuoh Academy, ignoring the murmurs of other students who gathered in groups, laughing, gossiping, exchanging lunch boxes.

His stomach growled, reminding him that he hadn't eaten properly yet—the morning rice hadn't satisfied his hunger. That damned dream still left him with a metallic taste in his mouth. Strange. It wasn't hunger for food... it was like there was a void somewhere else. An invisible hole, burning in silence.

"Maybe it's just... stress," he muttered to himself, shoving his hands in his pockets as he headed to the school's terrace.

There, the wind was cleaner.

The muffled sound of conversations disappeared, replaced by the subtle breeze that carried the scent of flowers from the distant courtyard. Issei leaned against the guardrail, staring at the clear summer sky. A blue so serene it hurt.

"How boring..."

Issei found himself thinking as he observed the school grounds, his sharp and bored eyes staring at everything from Above, until a certain color caught his attention.

"?!!... so... red?.."

A crimson color entered his field of vision. There, walking through the campus surrounded by a group of adoring girls and her faithful companion, was the president of the occult club, Rias Gremory and her companion and vice-president, Akeno Himejima.

"Wow… what breasts… I'll never have the chance to touch something like that…"

A cloud of melancholy covered Issei's face, after all, he was still a man after all, even if he hid it, he had his dreams.

Sighing, the young man settled down and opened his own lunch box, calmly eating what his mother prepared. Without noticing the eyes that for a moment strayed in his direction.

"Ise-kun… right?" murmured the president.

◇◇◇

Kuoh Academy had several clubs as mentioned before, but among these clubs, there is one in particular that, in the shadows, has control over the school, together with the school council.

That would be the "Occult" Club, led by "Onee-sama" Rias Gremory.

And the Student Council, led by "Souna Shitori"

These, at this very moment, were enjoying each other's company. In the meeting place, the student council room of Kuoh Academy was plunged into silence for a moment, broken only by the sound of chess pieces being moved across the board. The soft glow of the sun illuminated the inhabitants.

2 Certain "Queens" of Kuoh were in one of their disputes.

Rias Gremory observed the board, while her opponent, Souna Shitori (real name Sona Sitri), remained impassive on the other side. Rias sighed, crossing her legs elegantly while resting her chin on her hand.

"You really don't make it easy for me, Sona."

Sona, without taking her eyes off the board, responded, adjusting her glasses with a delicate gesture.

"I would say the same about you. But life isn't something that anyone can make easy, is it?" The casual comment brought a bitter smile to Rias's face. She knew exactly what Sona was referring to.

"Speaking of complications…" Rias began, moving a knight to protect her queen.

"My parents were very clear about what they expected of me. They said that marriage to Raiser Phenex was inevitable." Sona looked up from the board, her calculating gaze softening slightly. "And you don't agree?" Rias gave a short, humorless laugh. "Of course not. I'm not a pawn in my family's political game. I don't want to be reduced to a prize, a trophy to strengthen alliances." Sona tilted her head, her fingers gently touching one of the rooks on the board. "I understand how you feel, Rias, but you know your parents aren't doing this out of cruelty. The situation at your home… The expectations… It's not that simple." Rias clenched her fists, her nails digging into her skin under the bright light of the room. "No matter how much they try to justify it. My life, my choices. I won't give in so easily." Sona studied her friend for a moment before moving her rook, capturing a pawn. "Do you have a plan? Something you can use to convince your brother and the others to respect your decision?" Rias hesitated, looking away from the board. "Not yet. But I'll find a way. I always do." Silence returned to the room for a few moments as the two continued their game, each move. Finally, Sona spoke again, her voice carrying a note of concern. "And what do you think Raiser will do if you reject him publicly? He's proud, Rias. And powerful." Rias smiled, but there was something dark in her eyes. "Let him try something. I'm not weak, Sona. And I have my Peerage. I'm not alone in this." Sona sighed, shaking her head slightly. "You're stubborn as always. I won't say you're wrong, but be careful. Challenging someone like Raiser can have consequences." "Consequences or not, I'm not going to let that idiot win me like a trophy." Sona looked at the board for a moment before moving a bishop, putting Rias's king in check.

"Speaking of complications... I heard about a new transfer student in Kuoh."

Rias raised an eyebrow, interested in the change of subject.

"Anyone interesting?"

Sona gave a slight smile, enigmatic as always.

"Maybe. His name is Issei Hyoudou-san. He is a 2nd year student in the high school division, he transferred as an ordinary student, in personality, he seems to be someone reserved but sharp, but there is something else about him that caught my attention..."

Rias tilted her head, intrigued.

"Something like that?"

Sona moved another piece, closing the trap on the board.

"Instinct. That's all, for now. But I rarely make a mistake." Rias narrowed her eyes at the board, realizing Sona's decisive move too late.

"Checkmate," Sona said calmly, leaning back in her chair.

Rias sighed, but there was a glint of amusement in her eyes.

"You always win, don't you?"

"Not always. But you lose focus too quickly and get impatient, which makes you predictable." Sona smiled softly as she gave her usual answer.

Rias stood up, stretching her arms lazily.

"Maybe I should meet this new student, Hyoudou-san. If he's caught your eye, there must be something special."

Sona adjusted her glasses once more, a spark of curiosity in her eyes.

"Maybe you should. Something tells me he might end up intruding on our little school." Rias chuckled, walking towards the door. "Well, we'll see. And as for my marriage… thanks for listening, Sona." Sona nodded, her smile fading to give way to a serious look. "Whenever you need, Rias." As Rias left the room, silence filled the room once more. Sona stared at the board for a moment, lost in thought. Something told her that the peaceful days at Kuoh Academy were coming to an end. Meanwhile, Rias was thinking about the possibility of this student being a member of her peerage:

'Issei-Kun, huh?... I'll call Koneko...'

Some time later, in the main corridor of the school, Rias Gremory walked with her typical elegance, accompanied by her small and silent Rook, Koneko Toujou.

The light sound of their shoes echoed softly across the marble floor.

They both walked until they reached the emptiest parts of the corridors, towards their clubhouse in the old building. And it was at this moment that Rias caught the attention of her Rook.

"Koneko," Rias called, with a slight smile, "Did you manage to find out anything about the new student?"

Koneko, who had been following her silently until then, nodded with a slight movement of her head.

"Hyoudou-san, he attended the first classes of the day, but he didn't interact with the other students… he also…"

Her voice was as calm as ever, almost monotonous, but her pause was unusual.

"Yes?" Rias prompted, arching an eyebrow slightly.

"He's… strange." Koneko replied after a brief pause. "Very unusual, he smells like a human, but has a strong aroma. But he hasn't overtly displayed supernatural power. Being human, but not human at the same time, he smells like a dragon."

Rias crossed her arms in thought.

"Someone who smells like a dragon… curious."

She looked out the window of the hallway, observing the sunlit campus.

Koneko continued, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I sensed something about him. But it was only for a moment. Then it disappeared."

Rias narrowed her eyes, interest growing. Koneko's opinion, always so reserved, was rarely given so directly.

"Do you think he's a danger?"

Rias's voice was soft, but serious. He wouldn't let something dangerous into their school.

Koneko hesitated. "No... not yet. But he's different from the other humans we've seen."

Rias smiled slightly.

"Then maybe it's a good idea to get closer to him. If it's someone who can strengthen my peerage… we better make sure it's on our side, right?"

Koneko simply nodded, her almost invisible feline ears twitching under her hair.

"Well, let's go Koneko! We have a LOT of plans ahead!"

◇◇◇

The day went by normally for Issei, or at least, as normal as it could be.

Except for the current situation he found himself in.

"PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!"

"....huh?"

He didn't understand how he had gotten to this point. He wasn't very popular, having an average school life and no close friends, but now he found himself being asked out?

It wasn't that the girl was ugly, on the contrary, she was beautiful, with a flawless white complexion and silky ebony hair, it was just strange how she knew him.

The logical thing would be to say "no" and move on, but…

"I guess… that's okay?"

"Oh! That's great! So… can we meet tomorrow?" The girl—Yuuma, if her words were true—asked with a blush. He could only mumble something like "yes" and watch her skip away. In short, this situation was very bizarre.

But like everything lately, Issei shrugged and left, not wanting to question too much. Maybe this would get him out of his routine.

◇◇◇

He felt strangely excited for such a meeting the next day, having made plans for it a while ago.

Trying to be cordial, he arrived at the meeting place early, three hours before the agreed time. While waiting, he received a strange pamphlet from a strange-looking person, a cosplayer perhaps?

It was a paper that looked like something occult, with a Glyph drawn on it, where it was written "Your wish will be granted!" ... he was going to throw it away, but he decided to put it in his pocket because something told him not to waste it.

When Yuuma arrived, I said this:

"Don't worry, I just got here."

The day went somewhat well, we held hands and walked like a couple. I was somewhat excited. I have a date with a beautiful girl. I was moved, but it was not time to panic yet.

After that, we went to several stores, enjoying our date.

For lunch, we went to a family restaurant, the way students like us usually do, you could say that for the first time I could understand how other teenagers felt when they went on a date. I felt alive for the first time in my life.

And when it finally came to an end, I realized that it was already afternoon! And again I found myself thinking about how it would all be, Maybe a kiss before going home? Or would we just go on another date? Honestly, everything was too surreal for me. Oh, who knows... That was what was going through the mind of a teenage student like me, all this time.

We were in the square that was furthest from the city. There was no one else around besides the two of us. Yuuma had already let go of my hand and was walking towards the fountain.

"Today was really fun." Yuuma said as she smiled with the fountain in the background adding to the favor of her words. The sun setting behind her made the perfect backdrop.

"Hey, Ise."

"Hmm? Yuuma?"

"There's something I wanted to do to celebrate our first date. Could you listen to me?"

"S-sure, what do you want?" I answered blushing slightly, after all, I was still new to this whole dating thing, and I still felt my perverted streak trying to think of possible scenarios that this could end up with. But Yuuma just smiled at me. That's when she said to me.

"Could you die for me?"

...

"... Huh? What's that?" I certainly heard wrong. That's what I thought at the time. It had to be. So I asked her to repeat it. However...

"Could you die for me?" She repeated it with absolute clarity. Smiling sweetly. Those words made no sense. Just as I was about to say "what the hell?"...

FLAP

Large black wings emerged from her back, black feathers fluttered in the air and then came to rest at my feet.

Angel? There's no way it could be true. Could this be some kind of dream? There's no way I could believe something like that. Her eyes that were so attractive until now had become cold and frightening.

"It was so much fun the short time we spent together. But I'm afraid this will be our parting." Yuuma-chan's voice was extremely cold and sadistic. She spoke like an adult with a sadistic smile on her angelic face.

Bzzzzz.

And then a louder noise whistled, and a light formed with a loud buzzing sound as it was held in her hands, like a spear. It seemed to attract light, but in reality it was a spear.

Then I could feel the sound of wind.

A terrible noise followed.

"GAH!"

Hot, metallic blood flowed from my lips, while a numbness took over my stomach.

"W-what?"

The blinding glare that was piercing me revealed what had happened, but my mind still failed to comprehend

'What is this? Was I shot? Y-Yuuma? W-what?'

My mind raced through several possibilities, not believing that I had been pierced by my angel girlfriend. But the possibility was still clear.

My body couldn't resist and fell to the ground with a disgusting thud.

"Haha, don't be sad Ise-kun, regret and blame God, since it was because of Him that you became a target."

G-god? What the hell! How was this possible? I hadn't even managed to live in a way that I liked, being myself, and now I'm going to die like this?

Hell!

Damn it!

FLAP FOOSH

The sound of flapping wings and a gust of wind was what informed me that she had left. I wanted this all to be a dream, but the sharp pain in my chest and the cold on my skin and the heat of my own blood made it clear that it wasn't.

Damn it, I'm going to die..

How am I going to die in such a ridiculous way?!

Guh….

…..ah….tch….

As my vision was about to fail, time seemed to stop completely. The deep blue sky and the illuminated square seemed to be covered by a dark gray filter, consuming everything, even the air seemed to have frozen.

'A post-mortem hallucination? Is that possible?'

As I questioned whether I had already died at that moment, SOMETHING happened.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, brave hero."

It was as if the entire dark atmosphere was swept away by a bright point, a star. A silhouette of a man who exuded a brilliant aura stood in front of me.

"You could say that I am the one who values and respects you the most from the bottom of my heart."

Soon, the Silhouette was revealed to me.

A pale man with black hair and military clothing, sporting a bright smile.

"But I believe it is too early for your life to atone. You should not die here. Or, are you going to tell me that you gave up on living?"

He questioned me with a smile, his brightness, I could not reject his will that seemed to fill every pore of my body.

"I-I…want…L-Live!" I answered spitting blood, my heart had already stopped, I did not even feel air in my lungs, but I still did not want to die, my pure will did not allow it.

"Kukuku, I knew it~ you really are something fantastic, I did not imagine that a wonderful man like you could be born."

Faced with the words Of pride spilled, I felt welcomed, my bloody hands raised, I wanted to touch That light, to be welcomed in that warmth, to LIVE.

"H-Help me h-guh!" I want to live. I've never felt such a desire to live as I do now. Damn it! I can't leave my mother alone with that old bastard! I have to live to have a girlfriend, maybe grab some breasts at least damn it! I WANT TO GRAB THIS LIFE OF MINE!!!

As if hearing my laments to live, the man smiled even more radiantly.

"Yes... don't worry, just like I did with my friend back then, helping your son would be no different. A will to live inherited in such a magnificent way, something that shines in the hearts of men. You are worthy of this 2nd Chance. Connect to Kantan, and together, we will realize our dreams."

Immediately after, a pure glow emanated from the man, which seemed to purify Every impurity in my body, my soul was Being overwritten, illuminated. This was the spark of Full enlightenment.

"Meet me in Canaan, O young heir of Seijuurou."

And then, my vision was taken over by darkness. The last sense to disappear, besides hearing, picked up one last thing.

"Umu? So, you were the one who summoned me?"
