Chapter 1 - who is the real hero?

Long ago, the heavens shined in peace. The gods lived above the clouds, looking down upon the world below. But not every god was born perfect.

The son of the god king a deformed child with demonic eyes and an unstable aura was hated from birth. He was beaten, mocked, and called a disgrace among the divine. Even his own father turned his back on him.

One day, that child vanished from the heavens…

A hundred years later, he returned.

No longer a god.

But the Demon King.

The sky trembled. Thunder roared across the holy realm, and divine blood spilled onto the sacred land. One by one, the gods fell beneath his wrath until his own father stopped him.

The battle left the Demon King broken and near death. His demonic army fled to Earth. To stop them, the god king cast a curse:

"All demons who descend to Earth shall be turned into rare artifacts. Any human who finds them shall inherit their power but that power will eventually destroy them."

One by one, the demons turned into weapons, stones, mirrors objects of legend.

But the curse didn't affect the Demon King.

He wasn't just a demon anymore. He was something else.

With his body shattered, his soul scattered, he drifted down to Earth…

…until he found a crying infant, abandoned in a forest.

"This body... will be my vessel. Just for a while."

And the world fell silent.

Six years later…

Jackson lived in an orphanage. No one knew who his parents were. No one cared. In a world where humans bowed to demons for food and survival, life was simply about endurance.

Every country had three Demon Temples.

People brought rare items there in exchange for food, power… or empty promises.

Jackson had never found anything.

Never had any power.

But he was used to corpses on the street. Bombings. Random murders.

To him, that was life.

That day, he was just buying instant noodles for the orphanage.

Suddenly, a bloodied man sprinted into the supermarket he moved fast, unnaturally fast. Behind him came three official heroes, cloaked in shining uniforms.

Cornered, the thief grabbed Jackson as a human shield.

Everyone froze.

The leader of the heroes tall, strong, red-haired chuckled.

"We don't care about weaklings like your hostage."

He raised his fist and swung directly at Jackson's face.

Time slowed.

A voice echoed inside Jackson's head.

"You're still staying quiet? Even this filth dares touch you…"

Jackson's eyes flashed blood-red.

His body moved on its own and caught the punch.

The pavement cracked beneath his feet.

Everyone around froze.

That punch… was said to crush two trucks.

But Jackson stopped it with one hand.

He stared into the hero's eyes.

"So this is what you call a hero? Sacrificing the weak just to look noble? Disgusting."

Jackson gripped harder. The hero fell to his knees, choking.

Then—Slam!—he was smashed into the concrete, breaking the ground.

"Come at me," Jackson said coldly.

The thief, terrified, fled the scene.

But the remaining two heroes attacked:

Lisa, who could manipulate gravity

Ron, with laser eyes

Andy, who controlled the earth itself

None of it mattered.

Jackson moved like a living nightmare untouchable, unbreakable.

Lisa was thrown into a wall. Ron's beams missed. Andy's pillars collapsed onto himself.

When the dust settled, Jackson stood in the middle of the wreckage.

His red eyes slowly faded.

He looked around. Bodies. Fire.

Everyone stared at him—not like a savior…

…but like a monster.

"I… did this…?"

He turned and ran.

Ran back to the orphanage, shaking.

Inside, the TV was on.

"BREAKING NEWS: Unknown teenager destroys three national heroes. Authorities call him… the Hellspawn."

Jackson shut the TV off.

Packed a small bag.

And left the orphanage that night.

He ran into the forest, trying to disappear.

But deep inside him, that voice returned:

"You can't run from me, Jackson.

We're already one.

And this world… will crumble beneath us."
