Chapter 1 - Prologue-Pretty Colors

I Awoke.

As I open up my eyes, I stretched my hand upwards before looking left to right. There was a sky above me that was dyed a bright and blurry blue.

I seemed to have awakened somewhere, there's bright neon lights flashing all around me, all blurry and seemed to be indecipherable in their appearance.

As I pushed myself up in a sitting position, I began to rub my eyes hoping to regain a more clearer vision.

As I did, I found myself in a forest. A bright and colorful forest, with trees surrounding me all with a distinct bright cyan and purple.

If I hadn't known better, I'd assume I was drunk or was under the effects of a hallucination making my vision more dreamlike and illustrious.

Well, as I looked down at my body, I was still wearing the same clean white polo and trousers I wore prior to my... Wait. Where was I?

As I begin to take in the surroundings of mine hoping to regain some form of clarity and understanding of my situation, I found that the grass beneath me was dyed a sickly green almost boundering on decaying.

Nevertheless, I stoop up and began to dust off whatever was in my polo and trousers.

As I took a step forward, The Bright and Neon Trees around me seems to flicker and flash it's colors, albeit it wasn't as heavy and sore to the eyes but it was still surprising.

As I once again rub my eyes, I begin to walk forward now, past the bright neon trees and the sickly grass.

As I begin my treck forward, I soon find some strange vegetation growing all around me, strange like ferns dyed red and with green spots, purple stalks that seems to connect to trees and more, there was leaves that were dyed with green among the neon trees, unlike their naturally bright neon colored leaves.

I have either be awoken in an alien planet, a really far into future scenario seeing the bright neon trees or my first hypothesis, I'm currently under a hallucination.

Well, I'm more leaning towards the first one, but the other two cannot be ruled out just yet.

As I began my venture forward, I found my surroundings beginning to change as the originally blurry blue sky starts to become noticeably more darker.

After just a few steps, I found the sky above me being overwhelmed as there was no hint of color above me now.

With the only light source around me coming from these neon colored trees, which isn't much considering they emit about the same light as a regular neon sign would.

And after a while of walking forward, I strangely feel off as I halt my steps..

Why am I not weirded out by all of this?

Why do I feel like I'm being supressed by something?

Why can't I recall my individuality, my name, my face, and everything about me other than my clothes?

What are these strange details and information in my head?

Where am I? Is this a dream?

Am I dead? Is this hell?

As my thoughts began to run wild and chaotic, I instinctively turned around and as I was about to step forward and go back to where I originally was, I found a man standing among the bright trees.

I say a man, but he was nothing like it at all, he was a man with no facial features let alone a mouth, who's limbs and body seemed tattered and bruised in an exaggerated manner, colorful liquids was spewing out from orifaces, his clothes was like mine, a simple white polo and a pair of trousers, however. They were torn, cut and was tainted by various colors.

As I carefully examined the "Man" I begin to feel a strange chill, as my body instinctively jerked back forward, as I began to run.

I dont know why, but I seemingly can't control my body, as I ran and ran, there was no stranged murmers coming from all around me.

As behind me, I could hear a violent and almost heavy sound of something being chopped as well as grueling and suppressed scream

Is it chasing after me?! I thought to myself, however I couldn't confirm it as I can't even control my body to turn around and look almost like I wasn't even in charge of myself other than my thoughts.

As I ran and ran, the bright and colorful neon trees began to slowly dim and dim as my breath began baited and I could slowly feel my body running out of stamina, however it was still forced to run.

I couldn't even catch my breath, let alone control my body, as I helplessly watched myself run and run with no end as the disturbing and downright horrifying sounds emanating behind me only grew worse and worse.

I was like a spectator.

A helplessly narrator, who could only watch as this situation grows worse and worse, unable to move a muscle in my body.

Choiceless.

As I began to ponder my existence and my predicament in pure despair, I began to see a light in the distance. However, my body. No, more specifically my head jerked back and turned around despite the fact that we were getting close to the light.

As I did, I saw something.

A Hulking Giant made of lights and flesh.

Flesh integrated with the lights from these trees, as it fused with the colorful liquids painting it's horrifying body and figure which had only grew worse, as it's eyes which previously didn't exist now appeared showing colorful imagery as it showed a smile made from those colorful liquids pouring out as it began to produce those disturbing and frightening sounds once more.

From where it was being produced? It remains something I don't wish to find out anytime soon.

As my head jerked back forward, the light grew closer and closer, and as that strange like suppression begins to fade, I begin to feel control over my body once more.

As I then use the remaining strength in my legs to leap towards the bright white light, and as I grasped it. It all faded to black.

I Awoke.
