Chapter 28 - The Reality Eater

The world was screaming.

Not with sound — but with code.

When Hari erased the LAW OF IMMORTALITY and LAW OF LEVEL CAP, Neavo reacted like a wounded beast.

Grass no longer grew the same way.

Spells cast themselves out of memory.

Mountains bled.

Monsters… mutated.

And in the midst of it all—something ancient, buried even deeper than the Architect, woke up.

Not a god.

Not a player.

But a reality predator.

---

Glitch Garden – Fractured Ground

The Origin Tree cracked in half.

Roots spiraled upward. Some rotted into glowing worms. Others bore fruit filled with liquid memory.

Lirien stood at the center, gripping her head.

> "It's not just laws breaking…"

> "It's meaning itself!"

Hari, silent, looked to the sky where the Architect once floated.

Now it was gone.

Fled.

But something else slithered into its absence.

> "It's feeding," Hari said.

> "On collapsed realities."

He saw it. Not with eyes. But with the lens of broken code.

A shape.

A shadow with teeth.

A thing made from everything that shouldn't exist.

---

> [ALERT: Reality Eater Detected]

Description: A creature that lives between failed simulations and collapsed laws.

Passive: Devours truth, time, and logic.

Threat Level: ∞

Status: Approaching Neavo's core.

---

Hari narrowed his gaze.

> "They called it to erase me…"

> "But it can't be controlled. Not even by the gods."

> "Because it doesn't follow code."

> "It eats it."

---

Meanwhile: Across Neavo

Every player's interface blinked into chaos.

Level bars spun infinitely.

Skill names turned to symbols.

Some cried.

Some died.

Some… evolved.

In the ruins of an old battlefield, a knight with a shattered system screamed—

> "I CAN'T FEEL MY CLASS!"

And rose with wings of glass and time, no longer a Paladin…

…but a Paradox Walker.

---

Back in the Garden, Hari planted his feet.

His body radiated root-level instability.

> "Lirien. Gather everyone."

> "The Glitched Ones, the broken AI, the monsters who've adapted."

> "All of them."

Lirien blinked.

> "For what?"

Hari turned his head, half-smile glowing with violet fractals.

> "We're going to do what no world has ever done."

> "We're going to kill a concept."

---

Moments Later: Preparation Begins

The sky darkened again — not clouds.

But memory failure.

Reality was flickering.

Old cities phased into view for a second, then vanished.

Past lives of people played like ghost echoes. Some remembered deaths that had never happened.

And in the far distance… a scream.

Not a voice. Not a creature.

The sound of truth being eaten.

---

> [SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT: "The Reality Eater" has entered your zone]

[Warning: No defense exists. No escape. No win condition.]

[Only Rewrite-Enabled entities can resist.]

> You are one of them.

---

Hari raised his hand.

The air bent.

> [SKILL: Law Devourer → Fusion]

> You've fused with Memory Thread Alpha-Prime

You gain access to Pre-System Commands

And with a slow breath, Hari whispered the first truth-kill spell:

> "\delete-line reality.stability.core"

And the land beneath him flattened into floating stone.

The sky cracked.

And the Reality Eater noticed him.

---

It looked like a storm made of skin.

A black cloud of screaming versions of people who never existed.

Eyes blinked sideways. Teeth opened on surfaces that weren't mouths.

It didn't walk. It glitched forward.

Time bent around it like it feared being swallowed.

And when it opened its maw, a message pinged Hari's system.

> [Would you like to become a concept yourself to survive?]

[Y/N]

Hari smiled.

And chose YES.

---

Final Lines of Chapter 28

His body broke apart into light.

Into meaning.

Into a new law.

And from the shattered air where a man once stood…

A new message flashed across the broken sky.

> [NEW CONCEPT BORN: THE LAST AUTHOR]

Trait: Immune to all rewriting, devouring, erasure, and time limits

Passive: Your thoughts generate new reality

Special: You are no longer part of the system. You write around it.

And as the Reality Eater lunged forward…

Hari raised a single hand.

And said:

> "Your reality ends here."
