Jay-jay's POV
Haaaaaaaa!!!! This is crazy! I'm nervous and at the same time it feels like I'm about to poop. Hehe.
From this day on, I will study here at Higher Value International School. What a fancy name!
I'm close to the room that the registrar's office pointed out to me. According to my registration papers, the last section is E of 4th year high school. I ended up here because my records weren't that great.
I can't blame them, I was a troublemaker in my previous school. I continued walking towards the room. The school is actually nice, the school grounds are spacious and fresh because there are a lot of trees around.
I think I might like it here. I hope so.
Upon arriving at the classroom, I saw some guys hanging out in front of the door. There were five guys and they were all wearing their uniforms poorly. They looked a bit scary, but as they say, 'Don't judge the book by its cover.'
I approached them. They all stopped talking and faced me. They all looked at me with a mean expression. Okay, a bit scary!
"Uhmmm... E-Excuse me, is this section E?" Why am I stuttering? What is this, so embarrassing!
They looked at each other first before returning their gaze to me. It was as if they were scanning me from head to toe. Is there something wrong with my appearance?
"Not here... It's in the other building," replied the man with brown hair.
"Huh? T-The registrar said it's here—"
"They moved it! So get out of here!" shouted the man holding a lollipop.
I was a bit scared by their shouting, so I ran quickly. Wow! Do they really have to shout at me? If I weren't new here... you're in trouble.
The bell rang, indicating that class was starting. Meanwhile, I was still walking to my classroom. So annoying! I lengthened my strides; the other building was still quite far away.
It's just strange that the building I came from is at the far end and seems to be avoided by students. The building is still decent, but the paint is really faded, full of vandalism, and there are old chairs or broken items scattered around. It has two floors and has about four or six rooms in total. I'm just not sure if all of them are being used.
Unlike the building in front of me now. It's brand new and the paint is beautiful. It has about four floors and many rooms. Some rooms even have air conditioning. So fancy!!
I immediately entered the building to look for the room. I had been walking for several minutes, but it seemed like I couldn't find anything. I'm not blind, I just really can't find the room for Section E.
Until I saw a classroom with a name on the side of the door. Only "Section" was written, but there was a mark left that obviously indicated the letter E.
Maybe this is it!!
I immediately entered. The students stopped when they saw me. There were about 20+ students as well.
I looked for the teacher but she wasn't there. So I went straight to the empty seat at the back.
Their eyes were still following me.
"Is there a transferee?"
"Chicks, dude!"
"We have a new one?"
They whispered. To be honest, I was shy or more accurately, irritated. I don't like being talked about and it's obvious that I'm the topic of their conversation. I just bowed my head while hugging my bag.
"Hi!" Someone approached and greeted me.
I looked at her and a girl greeted me. A beautiful being... hehehe.. Are you an angel?
She was beautiful. Her hair was long and she was very fair. She also looked tall, probably taller than me.
"H-Hello po... " I greeted. I was shy. (Filipinos used "po" & "opo" to show respect to someone older)
"Don't call me 'po', we're probably the same age."
"Ahh... S-Sure"
"Are you new?" she asked while pulling a chair. She sat in front of me.
"O-Op— Yes, I'm new."
"What's your name?" she asked me warmly.
"Jasper Jean Mariano, Jay-jay for short," I replied with a smile.
There! I was feeling a bit comfortable now.
"I'm Rakki... Class President." she extended his hand to me and I accepted it.
Her name is cool! Just like her... hehe.
"Jay, are you sure about the section you joined?" she suddenly asked.
I looked at her in surprise but just nodded.
"Because I know there's a transferee but in section E, not here."
Not here.
Son of a... Looks like I entered the wrong section. Damn!
"Uhmm... W-What section is this?" I whispered to Rakki.
The whole class was looking at us. It would be embarrassing if they heard I entered the wrong section.
So embarrassing!!
Rakki approached me and whispered. "Section C."
Shit!! It really is wrong!! Damn!!
I slowly stood up and walked towards the door. I was just looking down.
Please don't look at me... please..
I was close to the door when Rakki suddenly blocked me.
"Where are you going? Ma'am is about to arrive."
Even if it goes against my will. I took a deep breath and looked her in the eye.
"Rakki..." I started. "...I-I entered the wrong section."
"Pffftt... I told you so!!" She responded with a loud laugh. Even her classmates were starting to laugh.
Oh my!! Earth, open up... and swallow them!!
I slowly walked out of the room and even though I was a bit far away, I could still hear their laughter.
So embarrassing! So annoying!
I quickly ran back to the building of Section E— the real Section E!
Those guys better watch out for me! They are the ones to blame for this. If they hadn't pointed me to that building, I wouldn't have ended up in the wrong section.
So annoying! They will remember this for the rest of their lives, the whole Section C!
I arrived at the room and my eyebrows met as I entered. That's it... Wrong Move!!
There was a teacher teaching, he stopped and looked at me. Oh no!
"Yes?" He asked me.
I composed myself. I immediately took my registration papers and— wait! I need to make sure!
"Is this Section E?" I asked boldly.
The teacher nodded and looked at me. I quickly handed him my registration paper.
"Ahh.. You're the transfer student, I've been waiting for you since earlier." He immediately pulled me and positioned me next to him at the front. "..I'm Mr. Alvin Siongco."
I smiled at him and he signalled me to introduce myself to the whole class. I immediately noticed those guys I talked to earlier. Such a bunch of troublemakers! What they did to me was crazy.
I glared at them so they would feel the intensity of my anger. But the fools just kept giggling except for the guy with the lollipop earlier.
"Class! Silent please..." Sir turned to me again. "...Go on, introduce yourself."
I took a deep breath first. "My name is Jasper Jean Mariano you can call me Jay-Jay. I'm from Holy Saints high school."
The whole class was just staring at me. Most of them were giving me a boring look. Except again for the one with the lollipop earlier, he had a poker face.
"Class president... don't you have any questions?" Sir Alvin asked.
No one answered. It seems their class president is absent. How typical, didn't show up?
"Class President..." Sir Alvin's tone changed a bit. He seriously looked at the group of guys I talked to earlier.
"Tss.."said the one with the lollipop earlier. He stood up and looked at me bored.
Wait! He's the class president? No way!
"Question..." Sir Alvin's voice sounded commanding.
He sighed first. "Are you still a virgin?"
My eyes widened at what he said while the whole class laughed.
"Keifer!" Sir Alvin shouted angrily.
He smirked."You said question.. That is a question."
Disrespectful! He even answers the teacher! So arrogant!
I looked at him angrily. "Sir Alvin is referring to a decent question."
There! I used English! I hope my English will last.
The whole class immediately went 'ooohhhhh'. The class president, whom Sir called Keifer, furrowed his brows.
"You want a decent question? Okay... When are you leaving our section?"
The whole class went 'ooohhhhh' again.
To be honest, I was annoyed by what they were doing and I was even more annoyed at this Keifer! So full of himself! What now?! Just because he has a position, he has to act all high and mighty?
"You? When will you disappear from this world?" I replied sharply to him while crossing my arms.
The class's 'ooohhhhh' grew louder. Even Sir Alvin I heard reacted as well.
"Why don't you go first?" he replied to me and smirked.
"Because I'm the one who'll make you disappear in this world."
"Like you can..."
"Yes I can..." I said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Okay... Okay.. Both of you need to stop. Keifer sit down and Miss Mariano you can choose any seat that you want", said Sir Alvin.
Wow! I'm not done with him yet. He has a bad look at me but I returned my attention to finding a seat. Later for you!
It's not a problem, because there are many vacancies. The only thing is that most of the vacancies are in the middle.
Like in Japan, their tables and chairs are even old. There are more than 20 pairs of tables and chairs here. But most of the students are at the back part and the sides.
They look like a letter U. Only the middle has not many people sitting. So I just positioned myself there. I ended up looking like a loner in my spot.
What's also puzzling about this class aside from their sitting arrangement.
There are only 15 or 16 students here and the other thing...
I haven't seen any girls yet.
