Lily hesitated a little then answered "I'm a vendor into perfumes,I deliver them also as I sell online , I'm off to deliver these to an estate ,the Redwoods estate it's at the outskirt of the town ,so I was late on my delivery base on personal issues before this" Lily lowered her head "Redwood estate, coincidentally that's where I'm heading, there's an event going on....why don't I help here ..." Alexander paused thinking of how he can help,he looked at his driver then at the scooter ' poor Stephen '
"wait here let me do something,I don't have a first aid kit in my car so I have a solution since we're going to the same location" after saying this he went towards the driver's seat.
" Hey Stephen" Alex lowered his head. Stephen ,who was looking at the lady who seem hurt ,looked at Alex 'please let it not be what I'm thinking ' "Stephen,you gonna get out of the car ,take her scooter to the estate , that's where she's heading to deliver perfumes,wait there until we get there understood "Alex said indifferently "....." 'what a human' Stephen thought to himself, he obediently came out of the car.
Stephen walked towards Lily "hmmm.... Miss please step aside , I'll be taking your scooter" Stephen wondered how Young the lady is to be out by 7:23pm .
Lily step with a groan from the pain in her ankle then Stephen drove off, Alexander walked towards her"Are you okay? Think you can walk?" Lily leaped forward but that hurt "I don't think so " Lily mumbled she was in pain but the next thing she knew was that she was up into Alexander's arm ,He carried her towards the car in bridal style,Lily could feel his broad chest through his coat ,she stayed silent.
After getting into the car , Alexander started the car , there was silence in the car until Alex spoke up "young lady , what's your name?" Lily jolted from her thoughts and looked at Alex should she tell him ,he was totally a stranger."you're accepting a help from a stranger , isn't it fair to tell me your name?... I'm Alexander Redford" Lily lowered her head in thoughts ' Redford? He's a member of the Redford ... it's their house we're going to... Redwood.....whoa' Lily thought until Alex snapped his fingers to bring her out of her wonderland. "I'm sorry n, I'm Lily Hawthorne" Lily said as she touched her wound ,she felt her wrist was wounded so she removed the emerald bracelet 'ouch'. "The Hawthorne... whoa " Alex said calmly "huh?" Lily was confused "your father's Henry Hawthorne right?the five star chef" Alex asked with his eyes on the road "yeah?...you know him?" Lily looked at him ,who doesn't know her dad in the high class "He's a chef for my company so I know him. ..yes" Alexander said then focused on the road . Lily just sat there quietly."when we get there we'll treat your wound" Alex said while Lily only nodded then mumbled "Thank you". Alex didn't answer and drove until they got to Redwood estate.
The event at redwood estate started guests filled the huge classic room decorations with red color especially ,that is the colour code of the Redford, Steve was the master of the ceremony.Maya Redford came out in her glorious golden champagne silk gown having a deep v-neck shape which beautiful luxurious red sparkling necklace which her husband gifted her ,gallantly appear with beautiful stoning shining around her waist line blending well with her white soft skin,she was with Daniel ,her husband together they came out to greet the guests , people gossipped on how rich the family is as the children of the house aee all rich .
