I woke up in the morning ready to get out with my girlfrie-no wife on our honeymoon trip.the morning felt fresh and refreshed. We started our ride through the barren lands of Alaska. I woke up my wife beside me and got her to get up and dress as i did not want to be late for our honeymoon. I bathed , got dressed and made breakfast and my wife came out in a rush with her suitcase. we sat in the car and went on the way.
She innocently asked me "So where are we supposed to be going right now?" I trust myself as i do not believe that i have ever stopped any car and looked back at her on that speed.
I sighed aloud and asked her straight up"what did u even pack if u don't even know where we are going?"
She laughed and resigned to just silence. we were approaching a crossroads and i told her the plan as well as the fact we had to cross almost the entirety of Canada to reach new york city.
While going through the way and exiting Alaska we were near a crossroad wwhen my wife suggested to take an off road path which was shorter and she said "this is the same path my boss uses to get through Canada to the mainland of the USA when he is not going through a flight."
While I trust my wife but the fact that she was in the military was a warning factor but regardless i decided to trust her and decide to go with her path. We put on some music which was a playlist of eminiem and billy eilish. We argued about the better artist while having a pleasant ride that's when a shockwave blasted us backwards.
I felt the impact as well as my wife but that's when i felt my wife push against my body as i felt a sharp pain in my leg as i saw her eyes impaled by the... seat cushion spikes or whatever it was. It seemed as if time itself had stopped as i felt my wife fall as the spikes pulled out of leg. As i moved away as I heard a thud. as i lost all life.
