Synopsis
> Park Ki Ran, a 17-year-old boy living a quiet, invisible life on Earth, has always been cold and distant—shaped by childhood trauma and years of being ignored. One day, the sky cracks open and reality itself collapses. Humanity is pulled into a new, terrifying world full of monsters, magic, and chaos. While others scream in fear, Ki Ran smiles—for the first time in years, something finally feels real. Chosen by the Monarch System, he awakens as a Level 1 Necromancer—a weak class to most, but one that controls death itself. In a shattered world ruled by ancient races and deadly monsters, Ki Ran will rise from nothing. With corpses at his feet and power growing in his cold hands, the forgotten boy will carve his path. From silence to supremacy. From shadow… to Monarch?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: The Beginning of Death

---

The sky over Earth was still blue that day.

No dragons. No demons. No magic.

Just cars, polluted air, and people too busy with their own lives.

Amid the hustle and bustle of the modern world, a boy sat quietly in the corner of a classroom.

His name was Park Ki Ran, 17 years old. His black hair covered part of his face. His gaze was vacant, barely blinking.

His expression was calm—or more accurately, numb.

---

"Ki Ran, please come to the board," said the math teacher.

He stood up slowly without a word. The class stayed silent—not out of respect, but because they simply didn’t care.

No laughter, no teasing. Park Ki Ran was a ghost in the classroom. Present, but unseen.

And to Ki Ran, that wasn’t a problem. In fact, it was exactly what he wanted.

> “Silence is safe,” he thought. “No one can hurt you if no one gets close.”

---

As a child, he once tried to open up. To laugh. To share.

But back in first grade, everything changed.

Five kids cornered him in a school hallway and beat him up—just because he was too quiet.

His face turned blue. His knees bled.

And when he came home, shaking, all his mother said was:

> “Try to be more cheerful, dear. Don’t be so weird.”

---

Since that day, Ki Ran silenced himself.

He learned the world didn’t like people like him.

And if that was the case… no need to speak. No need to feel. No need to hope.

---

Seventeen years old.

Some say it’s the most colorful time of life—first love, deep friendships, big dreams.

But for Park Ki Ran, seventeen was just a number.

Wake up. Go to school. Go home. Eat whatever’s there. Sleep. Repeat.

No friends. No love. No purpose.

And strangely, he had gotten used to it.

---

Until that day came.

The day the sky shattered.

4:37 PM.

The calm afternoon sky suddenly roared. The clouds turned purple.

Bolts of light cracked across the sky like a shattered mirror.

The whole city froze.

Then the voice came. Not from the sky. Not from a speaker. But from inside everyone’s heads.

[Reprocessing Reality: 12%...]

---

Panic erupted instantly. People screamed and ran. Cars crashed into each other.

Some of Ki Ran’s classmates cried, screamed, even fainted.

But Park Ki Ran just stood at the window, staring at the purple sky with a face that—for the first time—looked alive.

> “Finally… something different.”

---

> [14%... 18%... 32%...]

The school shook. The ground trembled. Sirens wailed outside.

The sky kept breaking, as if torn by a giant hand.

> [Dimension Shuffle Active. Identifying Entities...]

Then, black holes appeared in the sky.

One. Two. Dozens. Hundreds.

Humans were sucked up without mercy.

His classmates, his teachers, even the people who had never looked at him—

one by one, swallowed by the sky.

And his own body began to rise.

> [Initial Assessment: Specimen "Park Ki Ran" Verified.]

---

Yet, as his body lifted, Park Ki Ran didn’t scream.

He didn’t cry.

He didn’t pray.

He simply closed his eyes and gave a small smile.

> “If this is the end... I accept it.”

---

Darkness.

Cold.

Silence.

Then, the voice returned.

This time, closer. More personal. As if speaking directly to him.

> [Welcome, Park Ki Ran.]
