Forced Vows 1

**THIRD PERSON'S POV**

The girl trembled in fear, shaking uncontrollably. Tears streamed down her face as she sobbed, shaking her head in desperate refusal. "S-sir, please... no, I don't want to marry you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

The man in the black suit loomed over her, his crimson pupils glaring coldly. He took slow, deliberate steps forward until he was inches away, then gripped her chin with bruising force. "Say that again," he murmured, his voice low and dangerous. "Y-you... little girl, you don't want to marry me?" He let out a mocking laugh. "How brave. You don't even know who I am. I'm not just what you think" a pause " I can be your nightmare too and I will be." A threat a whisper and with that, he released her, stepping back with a sneer. "Whether you agree or not, it doesn't matter. I will marry you. That's final."

The girl shook her head violently, her pleading cries growing louder. "Sir, please! Why do you want to marry me? I'll do anything just not this!"

The man chuckled darkly, tilting his head. "Do you really think I want this? No. I have no interest in you. But it's... necessary."

"Necessary?" she echoed weakly.

"I don't have time to explain." He leaned in, his breath ghosting over her ear as he whispered,"You have two options."

"First option marry me quietly, without causing a scene or a fuss." His voice became a dark whisper

"Second option refuse, and I'll marry you anyway."

The girl's breath hitched. Both choices led to the same horrifying outcome. "I-I don't... please..."

"Oh? So you're choosing the second option?" His grin widened, cruel amusement flickering in his eyes. "Good. That'll be far more entertaining." He gripped her chin again, forcing her to meet his gaze. "Listen carefully. I also don't want to marry you but..." A sudden pause

"Let me make that clear. I don't owe you an explanation, and I don't care if you understand. Tomorrow, a car will be waiting at the college's back gate. Get in quietly. Don't test my patience." With one last searing glare, he released her and strode away, his footsteps fading down the empty hall.

The moment he disappeared, the girl collapsed to the floor, her legs giving out beneath her "W-why? Why does that man want to marry me?" she whispered to herself, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I don't want to marry him. I only met him two days ago, and suddenly... everything changed."

**Later That Day**

Exhausted and numb, the girl moved through the college corridors, her lashes still damp, her mind heavy with unanswered questions.

After classes, she dragged herself to the café where she worked, but her thoughts were elsewhere. She fumbled through her shift, dropping orders, mixing up tables, her movements sluggish and distracted. When her shift finally ended, she stepped outside, the weight of the man's threat pressing down on her like a storm cloud.

The girl walked slowly through the dimly lit alleyway, her steps heavy with exhaustion and confusion. Her mind swirled with unanswered questions Why was this happening to her? What did that man want? but no matter how much she turned it over, nothing made sense. By the time she reached home, her body felt numb, my thoughts still trapped in that terrifying encounter. As she pushed the door open, a sharp, stinging pain exploded across my left cheek.

**THE GIRL'S POV**

"A...Aunt Seraphina?" My voice trembled as I clutched my face, the heat of the slap burning my skin.

"What did I do now?"* She sneered, her lips curling into a cruel smile.

'What did you do? Oh, don't play innocent with me, girl. I know exactly what you are and what kind of girl you've become."

Her eyes raked over me like I was something filthy. "Why are you so late today? And don't lie your café shift never ran this late before. Did you slack off? Or were you somewhere else?" Her voice dripped with disgust. "Tell me, were you even at college, or were you off chasing rich boys? I know your type acting sweet and pure, but inside? Cheap. Pathetic."

"I...I was in the college hall," I whispered, my throat tight. How could I explain the truth? That a stranger had cornered me, threatened me, and now controlled my fate?

"The college hall?"

She let out a mocking laugh. "No event, no practice what were you doing there alone? Oh, I see. You were trying to lure some wealthy boy, weren't you? Hoping he'd take you away from this place?" Her glare sharpened, as if she could peel back my skin and expose every imagined sin, her eyes were making me feel like I am nothing but I a dust of speck

"Please, Auntie, believe me, I didn't- "

A deep, weary voice cut through the tension.

"What's going on here?"
