Nox's POV:
I am currently waiting for brat number 2's match to start as I watch the match between the students I have decided to name 'Glasses-kun' and 'One-eyed Willy' or just 'Willy' for short. I could feel the stares of the professors digging into me, as I watch. Right after seeing brat number 1's table I was on my way out as I ran into brat number 3 on his way to test out brat number 1's stuff. He stopped me from heading to brat number 2's demonstration. One thing led to another, and we made a bet. He bet that if they lost, they would do anything I asked, and if they won, I would do the same. And after their victory the thing they asked me to do was. Walk around on my hands all day with a sign saying 'Liar, liar, pants on fire', hanging off my hip.
Apparently, the scoundrel even got to my students. They blamed me for the innumerable rumors that brought their chastity into questioning and decided to make me do this as a result of their misdirected hatred. I do not blame them for it is an educator's duty to enlighten such misguided souls. That is why I decided to up my investigations.
However, it seems another scoundrel has appeared. They say a one-eyed maniac has been scaring people around the school. They describe him as having silver hair, an eyepatch, a blue eye, and he is often seen walking on his hands as he's chasing people around the halls at insane speeds. Between this new menace and the other scoundrel, I am being overworked as I'm being handed to many cases by vice chief of police Graybeard disguised as formal complaints for secrecy's sake.
"AND THE WINNER IS, YOSHIDA SATO!!!"
The announcer snapped me out of my reverie as I focused on the match ahead of me. Apparently, poor little One-eyed Willy specialized in illusions, but Glasses-kun seemed to have better eyes then his glasses would suggest as he saw through all of Willy's decoys and managed to track him down. Once he lost at hide and seek, poor little Willy stood no chance as mean old Glasses-kun pummeled him black and blue.
"Hey, could you just sit normally. You're starting to scare some of us." The professor I copied my graduation outfit from said while keeping some distance from me.
I responded by turning my head 360 degrees before looking at him as I responded.
"oN! I tonnac! I tsol a teb htiw ym stneduts dna siht saw teb! (No! I cannot! I lost a bet with my students and this was the bet!)"
Apparently, they understood the need for a professor to keep his word to a student in order to lead by example. Because right after that all the professors backed away from me without a word. Their admiration is written all over their shocked expressions.
"NEXT CONTENDERS ARE! SUZUKI HARUTO FROM 2A VERSUS SUZUKI SHINJI FROM 2F!"
Finally, the brat I actually wanted to see came out. The brats half-brother came out first as he waved his hands at the audience. Not far behind came my delicate baby boy brat number 1. I put on the scruffy mustache as I waved at him with my right shoe. The moment he saw me he looked so happy to see me he started laughing on the way to the stage.
"Ah, that's my boy!" I said, as I watched him boldly approach the stage as he giggled in what I am certain was mockery of his opponent.
It seemed as if it was working as I could see the other guy's face turning red, while the judge was explaining the rules.
"I WANT A CLEAN MATCH! THAT MEANS NO ADDITIONAL MAGIC ITEMS! NO POISON! AND NO WEAPONS! YOU WILL ONLY FIGHT USING YOUR BODY AND SPELLS! HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR?"
"YES!"
*giggle*
"Yes!"
"THE WINNER WILL BE THE ONE TO MAKE THE OTHER FORFEIT THE MATCH, BREAKS THE OPPONENTS PROTECTIVE GEAR OR KNOCKS THE OPPONENT UNCONSCIOUS! IF THE OPPONENT IS DEEMED UNABLE TO CONTINUE, YOU ARE TO STOP REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES! THEN WHEN YOU ARE READY! GET SET! GO!!" And with that the judge moved back as the two started making their moves.
"And their off! Haruto starts casting his signature Fire Ball, but what's this? Brat number 2 has decided to charge his opponent as he tries to bring this into a brawl! But it seems he's too late as Haruto finished his spell. Is this the end for brat number 2." I started commentating on the match to mixed reactions of the surrounding professors.
"WHAT'S THIS! Brat number 2 has just cast the tier 2 spell 'Mud Slide' to turn the ground into mush as he slides under the fire ball of death. What quick thinking! What do you think guest commentator A?" Just then I directed my prop microphone to Graybeard as he approached me with his grumpy face that clearly expressed him wanting to join in.
"Wha-"
"The audience is just dying to know! Just what are your thoughts on today's competitors?" I said as another mix of glares focused on Graybeard.
"Well, I-"
"OH MY WORD! DID HE JUST DO WHAT I THINK HE DID? Haruto just attempted a wind burst at point blank distance, but brat number 2 just reached his hand through his spell causing a backlash that pushed them both back. Such a risky gamble! What do you think guest commentator B!" I said as Whitebeard approached. However, he was not deterred from the microphone as he went on record to say.
"Could you quiet down? The people here don't need a play by play! If you must than go somewhere else to watch!" The brilliant Whitebeard said.
"Can I go anywhere?"
"As long as it's not here!"
"Yippy!" I cheered as Whitebeard gave me the go ahead for something I wanted to do from the start.
"Eh! maybe no-"
I immediately teleported myself to the principals office in excitement before Graybeard could finish his sentence. As I grabbed the magic item used for the PA announcements, I turned on my golem surveillance camera and altered the magic speakers to only address the dueling arena before turning it on.
"AND WE'RE BACK FOLKS! IT SEEMS THE INFAMOUS BRAT NUMBER 2 HAS GOTTEN THE UPPER HAND AS HE HAS NOW PINNED DOWN HIS OPPONENT AND STARTED SAVAGELY BEATING HARUTO! OH, BUT WHAT'S THIS! HARUTO MANAGED TO PREPARE AN AIR BURST, HITTING BRAT NUMBER 2 FROM HIS LEFT, SENDING HIM FLYING! HARUTO MANAGED TO GAIN SOME GROUND WITH THAT LAST MOVE, BUT WILL IT LAST! HARUTO PREPARES FOR ANOTHER SPELL, AND BRAT NUMBER 2 IS DOING THE SAME! WE ARE STANDING AT A STALEMATE HERE FOLKS! JUST WHO WILL CAST THEIR SPELLS FIRST! IT'S ANYONES GAME!"
*knock*knock*knock*
"Open up! Professor Sun we know you're in there!"
Just then while I was waiting for the two to make their next move, some intruders were trying to break into the principal's office. Fortunately for me I locked the door on the way in. I grabbed the PA system and teleported myself to an empty classroom, before they could break the lock. With that out of the way I returned to my job as commentator in peace.
"THE WINNER OF THE RACE IS NONE OTHER THEN BRAT NUMBER 2 AS HE FIRES THE 3RD TIER SPELL 'CHAIN LIGHTNING', SUCH AN OVERWHELMING DISPLAY OF SPEED. AFTER GIVING HARUTO A HEAD START, HE STILL MANAGED TO CAST HIS 3RD TIER SPELL FIRST! IS THIS THE END FOR HARUTO OR WILL HE BOUNCE BACK STRONGER THAN WE EVER COULD HAVE IMAGINED!"
"STOP! SUZUKI HARUTO'S PROTECTIVE GEAR HAS BECOME TO DAMAGED TO BE USED FURTHER! I DECLAIR THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH TO BE SUZUKI SHINJI!" the judge said as he moved to stop Shinji from keeping the spell active.
"I GUESS NOT!"
*KNOCK*KNOCK*KNOCK*
"OPEN UP!" The FBI! How did they find me?
I could hear the Funny Burglars Initiative trying to get into the classroom. I teleported to the open roof of the arena. I dangled off the edge as I watched from afar
"WHAT'S THIS! IT SEEMS HARUTO HASN'T HAD ENOUGH AS HE IS CHARGING AT BRAT NUMBER 2 FROM BEHIND. WHAT EVER WILL HE DO! OH MY GOSH! BRAT NUMBER 2, SOMEHOW SENSED HARUTO'S APPROACH AND DODGED HIS FIST! CLOSING THE DISTANCE HE ACTIVATES HIS SECRET WEAPON! AN ORIGINAL SPELL FROM PROFESSOR SUN HIMSELF! THE 3RD TIER SPELL 'COMBUSTION TOUCH', A CLOSE-RANGE SPELL THAT IS CAUSING HARUTO TO BURST INTO FLAMES FROM THE INSIDE OUT! AND WITH THAT! TODAY'S MATCHES HAS COME TO AN END! THIS IS COMMENTATOR SUN SIGNING OFF!"
"Did you enjoy yourself!" Whitebeard said as he floated up to look me in the eye.
"Yep. Thanks for giving me the great idea!" I said as he grabbed my collar and dragged me to his office for what I can only assume is a reward for my great work as a commentator.
